RubiesRoaring 20's Sequin Flapper Headband with Feather

I ordered this headband for a big party my cousin was throwing. I wasn't sure if I was actually going. I had even tried to order a different head band but that one was out of stock so I scrolled down and amazon had suggested this one which I though was much prettier than the original one I'd logged on to buy. I expected the feathers to be small but when the package arrived there were these big, beautiful peacock feathers on the headband. It was very well packaged and arrived the day before the party since I'd procrastinated, thinking I might be able to make a nice headband. No way. This headband was way better than anything I could have made and probably for much cheaper too. I can't imagine being able to piece together something better for less than $9.I do want to say that when I first pulled it off the packaging that it was a tad tight and that's actually what I expected, so I carefully stretched it several times with my hands, then hung it on a doorknob with a hanger looped onto it to try to stretch it a bit more. It worked. I put it over my head and hooked it under my bun, then pulled some hair over it in back and proceeded to make a faux bob. It was perfect and stayed in place all night with no problem. The black sequins were a bit shinier than pictured but I don't think it mattered. I got lots of compliments on the headband throughout the night and I think it added the perfect touch to my outfit.

To me, this one is much more deluxe than most of the others offered. I have decided, however, to go with the cloche hat I bought for my Flapper costume. No doubt I will use this at some point, just not this go around.I have included pics to show all angles on the wig. It really is neat, stretchy, fits nice. As with all items of this type, you have to be careful putting it on, because it tends to ride up - misplacing the hair. You'll see this specifically in the pic I took at the back of the head (left side). But feather stands nice and tall, just as it should.

I got this for a Roaring 20's Wine Tour which involved mostly sitting. While this is very pretty the beaded strands kept unraveling and beads were dropping off throughout the day. However no one noticed as there are several strings of beads and it's not as if they poured off all at once. I was inside 90% of the time on a clear, non-windy day and only took it off once to adjust my hair so it was not like I was rough on it. I wore it for about six hours. The peacock feathers are lovely and the band was very comfortable. I will add some drops of glue to the tips of the beaded strands before I wear it again.

This is a beautiful headband. It is a showstopper which I believe will get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The blue jewels really accent the pretty peacock feathers. The sequin headband is very comfortable and feels like it will be snug enough to stay in place yet not so tight as to be uncomfortable. The picture does not do justice for this headband. When it arrived, one strand had lost all its beads. However, that is not an issue since the missing strand is not needed.

This is a really nice roaring 20's headband with beautiful beads and peacock feathers. I bought this for my Flapper girl Halloween costume and I was very surprised at how well made it was. Some thought actually went into making this. It isn't just a cheap thrown together thing that is going to fall apart before the night is over.I was very happy with it.

This was a great addition to my outfit for a 1920s themed party! It's it well made, stays in place, and held together perfectly through the evening. I wrapped it back up and intend to pull it out again at some point. Great product, definitely recommend! I got lots of compliments.

This is a very cute flapper headband. BUT there were beads loose in the package before I even wore it, and then they kept falling off while I was wearing it. I only wanted to wear it once, so it was fine, but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to wear it again (if I want) because of losing the beads.
