This Bristan shower hose was much better to screw onto the water outlet end than was a previous one of a different make. On the latter, the "coned" nut "bottomed out" before the washer would seat, so I had to make a thicker washer so it would seal. Not so with the Bristan hose. Obviously care had been taken to ensure everything fitted together without such a problem. British-made by a company with decades of experience with standard British plumbing fittings. Superb! The hose is also very flexible indeed. Top marks all round, Bristan!

Well - I suppose it was my own fault buying a clearly imported shower hose that ended up falling apart and exposing dangerous, sharp edges. However this product is a revelation. As soon as I opened it the quality was clear - with the fittings good and solid and the hose itself clearly robust. It will be British products for me from now on, especially as closing the VAT loophole on imports now makes them cost competitive, in fact this shower hose was one of the more cost-effective options. What's not to love.....?

The quality of the hose is better than other higher priced ones I have purchased previously, and British made. Easy to fit and quick delivery by seller.

The picture shows the hose expanding after the fitting so that the hose itself is larger bore. The actual product itself does not do this so anyone looking for a larger bore shower hose should look elsewhere.
