INTRO: A UNIQUE WAY TO MAXIMIZE YOUR WAKE The hottest product to hit wakesurfing since we created the wakesurfer. This device easily mounts to the lower/back point of the starboard or port side of your boat hull for a premier surf wake on either side. We have tested every aspect of surfing using waterski boats, crossover boats, older "V-Drives", newer "V-Drives", and one thing is constant, this is a game changer. In addition to turning wakes into swells the best part is you no longer have to weight your boat unevenly. Gone are the days of filling and draining your bags to the port or starboard side keep it all in the center. There has never been this type of aftermarket innovation that can so easily be mounted to the side of the hull that makes this kind of difference. With a built in handle it is easy to move to either side of your boat, and is best paired with a loaded Eight.3 ballast system. Introducing: CONCAVE BLADE 138 The Most Advanced Aftermarket Wake Shaping Device HEIGHT/THICKNESS The tallest and densest peaks out there. The higher and the thicker the wave, the more mass there is for an advanced surfer to ride deeper in the wave, smack off the lip and experience just more overall push. Any level surfer will notice that you can get more out of a wave for longer surf sessions even on smaller size boat hull designs CLEANLINESS Neat and tidy curls. It does not matter if you have a big, tall or long wave if it has whitewash on the top lip. Our increased deflection area and concave designs make the purest swell out there. WAVE DEGREE OF ANGLE Since recognizing deflection area as the most important contributor we have seen the degree of angle of the wave itself changing 10 to 15 degrees. The result is the wave giving more push from directly behind you, replicating more of that ocean surfing feeling.

Stronger than it looks.
The media could not be loaded. This thing works for me I have a 2011 23lsv and this helped create the tallest and longest wave I've ever had behind this boat. I've previously owned the original eight.3 surf shaper and the big one that came out in 2017. This one exceeds both in wave size and shape and the ease of install and removal makes it a no brainer. The old velcro style constantly came off and were just frankly a pain. I had real doubts about this 138 due to its design. It just doesn't look strong enough to withstand that much water force, but after a full first day of use it shows no signs of stress or plastic fatigue and it did not pop off once! So far it’s a winner. I'll update if things change.

SWEET WAVE...For only 5 Minutes.
So I bought this after building my own wake surf shaper which worked extremely well all last year and never had any issues. The only downside to my self-built one is that it does not float, so I wanted to buy one for this season.I was mixed on the Mission Delta and this one. This Ronix one stuck out and was very appealing because it is quite a bit bigger than similar products, and claims to displace more water. It is fairly new so there aren't very many reviews on it or comparison between similar products, but I bit the bullet and bought it. Used it for a week in Lake Powell with no issues at all on a friends boat. It worked great! Never came off and did exactly what it was supposed to until I tested it on my 08' Malibu Vlx...Spent an hour in the water with two people just trying to get it to suction to the lowest flat part of the boat (also where I would suction my DIY surf shaper without any issues). Gave up and tried attaching it to a higher point which was almost out of the water on the boat, but to my surprise worked and the wave looked awesome....for less than 5 minutes when the surf shaper plate cracked and broke off. Luckily I had a tether tied to the handle part of the surf shaper because this part does not float. The plate does but would have sunk because it was filling with water.Anyways I am pretty disappointed in this product. I know they have a good warranty but honestly, I don't want a replacement because it was such a pain to try to get it to stick to my boat. I would look at other options like the Delta. The plate is smaller but produces the same results, everything floats and has more testimonials

BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT
I received the product just fine. Packaged properly. After opening I noticed that there was no safety leash/cord included so I called the factory to inquire why! I asked what kind of safety leash I should use and where to attach it and easy told that it floats and NOT to use one due to possible damage to the device and boat from lash back if it falls off. So taking the advice of the factory I used the device and it fell off without noticing and was LOST. $400 gone....... Very poor design by the factory if you can't keep the device on some kind of a safety leash to avoid loss.

Doesn't stick to hull poor suction cup design.
Bought it on for my 07 VLX, it wouldn't stay stuck in any position on the hull just kept falling off, i bought this to use on a 4th of July boating trip; Ronix is an awesome manufacturer of many things, this wake shaper is not one of then.

Does not work...
For price you pay its cheap quality. Suction cups could be more industrial. The wake shapper falls off. After about a year water came into plastic somehow ans it feel of and we could never find it. Also the suction cups got deformed towards end so they didnt function as great....you can make this your self for cheaper. You tube it. L BRACKET. Cutting board and industrial glass sucion cups.

I'd give it a zero if I could
We got this wedge with our new boat, took it out and put the wedge on. It went on fine--though the suction cups were a bit finicky and needed quite a bit of pressure to hold. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about it. I got my son ready to pull up, hit the throttle, got up to 8.6 mph and the whole plate broke off the handle and the suction cups gave out. Luckily I'd tied the suction cups to the boat and the plate floated, or I would have lost the whole thing and may have injured my son. This was the first time we had used it. I took the wedge back to the boat dealer and they sent it in for a warranty claim but Ronix refused to replace the wedge telling us "it must have been user error." Sorry, but I checked both before and after it was installed to make sure it was installed correctly and 8.6 mph is not too fast. Crappy product, crappy company. DON'T wast your money. I guess at least the dealer gave me 20% off on a new Mission Delta wedge. Wish I would have gotten that one to start with.
