I bought this monitor light to provide better lighting and ambiance depending on my needs. I work from home, so the additional white/yellow light on the monitor really lights up my desk and makes viewing easy on the eyes. On the flip side, I also game... a lot. The RGB aspect really helps pull in the ambiance during my game sessions and makes me feel like I'm in an entirely different office. The buttons were a little weird to figure out at first. The white/yellow light turns on and off differently, and switches differently, compared to the RGB side. You'll figure it out. Alternate between double taps and long press taps. You can also increase/decrease the brightness of the white/yellow light by long-tapping as well. All-in-all, an excellent buy with no issues.

This Catpower White and RGB works well in my home office. The RGB control is intuitive. Tap it to turn on. Tap it to change modes and long Tap to turn off.The White side needs a very brief Tap to turn on, then double-tap to turn off. Simple tapping doesn't turn it on consistently. Once on, a single tap changes the color temp. A long press changes the brightness up or down depending on the previous action.The limited install doc doesn't mention the required touch sequences, and with the white side turning on being finicky, this leads to frustratuon with the product.

I like how the light is even across the screen

Easy to setup easy to use. I work from home and my setup is in my bedroom husband works nights, so this is perfect so I don't have to have the light on in the room. Looks good and I'm happy with the price.

This had the design I was looking for. Out the box worked as describe. Now 2 months later, it stopped working.
