A GENTLE touch is needed when attaching and using
I bought this to use on my digital calipers to check brake rotors. When attaching and using the adapter a light touch is needed as well as time spent aligning the jaws to each other. If they aren't aligned correctly the short pins will never touch each other and that will make zeroing out the caliper impossible. With a little practice I was able to get repeatable readings. The jaws add a bit of weight, so if your calipers are a bit loose this might make them too sloppy for accurate readings.Very worth it in my opinion.

Works for me.
Slick little device for hobby or occasional users. Easy to install and worked great for me.

Not sturdy
They wobble and are will not let you get a accurate reading. I have tried tightening down more and still wobble. Better off spendinh the extra money and getting the fowler set that's made to work the way these do.

Not a great tool. Usable but difficult and not too accurate.
Not a great tool. Usable but difficult and not too accurate. I had to use a second gauge to find measurement once adapters were added to then add to measurement acquired with gauge with the adapters. I thought it would be an inexpensive way to measure rotors & drums but it just added too much time to an otherwise simple fast task if you had the right tools. I will be purchasing right tools for the job after all, since time is money this cheap costing tool will eventually cost me more money than just buying the right tool for the job.
