Ideal for light electrical work good sizes and types

A great little selection of many of the most commonly used crimp connectors, mostly used for 12v/24v automotive wiring projects but also some general component boards and other electrical fittings. Both male and female spade, ring, and fork connectors in 5A to (as far as I can judge because it doesn't explicitly say) 15A ratings, all with insulated collars. Note though there are no bullet or through/straight-line connectors included in this pack.As an electrician I've been using these connectors for years; they're the type of connectors that invariably come in handy when you least expect, especially when adding low-voltage electrical accessories into cars, boats, RV's, caravans etc. So yes, it's definitely worth keeping a ready selection in the toolbox/workshop, and nearly always much cheaper buying a boxed selection like this than a bag of one specific type with just a few connectors from your local motoring/DIY/hardware store. By comparison, this selection box is excellent value.Note: A CRIMP TOOL IS NOT INCLUDED: You'd either need to buy one, there may already be one on your wire-stripper tool, or make-do with needle-nose or regular pliers to crimp the cable tightly into the fitting(s).

A handy kit to have for terminating cables on smaller electronic projects and the like.Using this with a decent compression fitting plier and having tested an a dozen or so cables, most seem to be a good firm fit, although some are not as tight and robust as I would like - So this would probably limit my use with these to lower voltage applications, just to be on the safe side. Given the price of these, I cannot imagine anyone using these for anything too crucial, in any case!

Die Kabelschuhe passen gut ineinander und lassen sich auch gut verkrimpenIn der Produktbeschreibung steht, dass sie aus Messing hergestellt sind. Das ist aber nicht so, sie sind aus Stahl. Messing ist ja etwas gold-gelblich.Die Verpackung ist in einer angenehm weichen Box geliefert. Einen sehr harten Einsatz wird sie vielleicht nicht aushalten, ist für den Haushaltsgebrauch aber voll ausreichend.
