The Bag is Perfect!!!

Would not purchase. Bought at the suggestion of a friend who said the quality was better than Rimowa. The first time I used the bag I flew directly to Mexico from LAX. The wheel broke off (!) and I had to literally tip the drivers and staff at the resorts $100s in total to carry a checked bag that was 47lbs up and down cobblestone stairs and streets in remote parts of Mexico. I called and the owners literally fought with me (!) tried to tell me their customer service was the same as Mercedes when I asked for the bag to be exchanged and not “repaired” and offered to send back a wheel and a shipping label. I’m the founder of a company, my time is billable, the hours I spent on this and then money I spent tipping the staff and their reply was “they would send me an extra wheel”. So the second time i use the bag, I fly directly to Aspen. Again a 3 hour flight. The latch on the bag breaks. Their reply was the same. For a brand new $1,000 bag, to tell me this is the quality of manufacturing really speaks wonders to the lack of attention to detail in design and poor craftsmanship. Stick with the other brands at this price point. Do yourself a favor. I am a luxury buyer. I am appalled by the quality and customer service or lack thereof. Most especially for the price point, $300 bags would be comparable or better than the quality and customer service and also offer lifetime repairs. I don’t see how Aleon differentiates in any way. I withheld after the first incident from posting a review, but the second incident is unacceptable and I really must say something so other buyers are aware.

First trip Los one wheel and the screw! I wrote to warranty department and they send me two new ones! Great service! Fourth trip almost lost two wheels, they unscrew it self with the normal use, now I have to check them every fhight. I choose that brand thinking that it can be like my other Rimowa bags and the price attractive but they are farrrr away from the Rimowas, I recommend pay more for the best quality. Now I have to buy a locktie to ensure the wheels, hope it works

The price for this is a bit on the high end. However it is sleek and a beautiful piece of luggage that is extremely functional.It comes with a cover so you can protect it when traveling or storing it. It is a shiny and sleek silver color. It is very lightweight when empty and easy to move due to the wheels being 360.This is 30" tall roughly and hold enough luggage for 1 to 2 weeks of travel if you pack mindfully. It is great for long trips or for family trips when you want to reduce luggage and share a suitcase.I do plan on getting a thicker PVC cover for this luggage since I believe it will protect it better than the cover that came with it.

Bought this suitcase several years back. Overtime airline luggage handlers have managed to break a couple wheels but everytime called customer service and they sent replacement parts within 24 hrs.The first time this occurred the wheel unit was a little different than the current one and company even send me the tools to unscrew the wheel unit.The only thing is the very first suitcase I bought from them had combination on all 3 latches and now only on 2 of them, the latch without lock tends to disengage easily.

I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone without reservation. Clearly the company has put quite a bit of work into their design and the usability of their products.I really like the hardware on the suitcase. The wheels roll very smoothly, and the telescope enhandle is easy to use. Also it is very good that they have Spring loaded handles for the top and sides. This helps to keep it streamlined and helps to prevent damage during transit. It has very long hinges along the spine and this is a mark of a case that is well designed. Small hinges don't keep the suitcase shot properly, And they don't last. This one looks like it will last me a long time.The internal Packing restraint system is particularly useful when you are not able to completely Fill the suitcase. Normally when a suitcase is not full your clothes just rambled around inside. With the restraint system your clothes can stay well organized even though the baggage handlers are tossing them with abandon.If so far it has survived a trip to France with only minor scratches and no problems yet. Fortunately, this is one of the newer generation suitcases whicertain cases which has replaceable wheels should anything break. Finally, before I purchased this I made a phone call to the manufacturer and God the manufacturer and got them on the 1st try. The owner of the company is very responsive and quite friendly.. I have no doubt that any is that any service requests will be handled properly and fairly.

The suitcase was well packaged, delivered on time and looks amazing. It's also so well built. I quickly tested it by filling the open / upper side with clothes, quite heavy at that, to see if the divider would hold it and how the clasps would latch. There was no problem with the divider, it never moved and kept everything in place. As I just closed the 2 halves, without fussing, I just clicked the latches and the closed. Really pleased, the amount of time spent fumbling trying to get these to close on lesser cases is unreal.The case is expensive, if I was only having a case for vacations then this would be overkill, but I spend so much time on the road, in and out of airports, having a case like this will last me years.
