Some kids were playing around our house and pulled the main outside electrical switch. I didn't want that to happen again. I purchased these four locks for: Our solar inverter box, Our HVAC box, Our main power box, and our solar power box. I had to use a drill bit to open up some of the fittings so that this large shank lock could fit. Obviously, if someone grabbed the lock they could likely just twist the mounting off, but I believe that if someone saw this bulky lock on something, they would just leave it alone. These locks look tough and strong which is what I wanted.

These locks were fantastic. Built better than anything I've ever seen. Unfortunately they were too thick to get into my gate so I had to send them back :(.

These locks are extra heavy duty, thick and heavy. I didnt realize they were going to be so massive but I needed a set keyed alike. These locks are serious. The package came with one key per lock, 4 locks, 4 keys.

We had 4 PODs to move our house recently, and so this four pack keyed the same was just right. These aren't the most secure locks ion the world, but at this price none of them are (watch a few youtube lockpick videos). But they get the job done. My only complaint is that road salt/dirt got into one of the four and jammed it irrevocably. We had to cut the lock off at the new house. Which is depressingly easy by the way with a cordless angle grinder. Don't think any of that "hardened steel" nonsense matters. Couple minutes with a grinder and you're in. Mostly posting this in case anyone intends the same use. You may want to wrap the lock in shrink wrap or the like to prevent jamming.

Read reviews elsewhere about how easy it is to pick locks…but at the end of the day, if that person wants what you have, eventually he/she will steal it. But I did hear this one is slightly harder for them to pick. I used to lock stuff at the storage over summer but one thing to remember is that this padlock’s shank is thicker than your usual gate/hole so make sure you are aware of that or it’s will be useless or you need to get chain or something to tie/close the door/gate.

Locks are very substantial in weight, and look to offer great security.

Very strong and menacing looking lock. Just don’t look it up on YouTube and you can rest easy.

When I received these padlocks, the first thing I noticed was how heavy and sturdy they looked. I tried the keys on each one, everything was perfect. Highly recommend these for security use.
