The AC and DC charge cords are of sufficient length at about 6' each. Very prompt and good customer service via phone. I had a tech question and connected to English speaking rep within 2 minutes.

Little bigger then I was expecting for amp rating, but it’s simple to use. Like that they gave various hookups with boombox kinda cord to make it quick to switch cords. Regular lead acid works good on don’t have any lithium ions but tried it on regular setting I believe for lipo and voltage was a smidge high battery had bms so might be ok. I imagine it will last a long time since it’s Schumacher brand quality is usually pretty high it’s the brand I usually recommend if someone needs one. Their not perfect but pretty close and a reasonable price.

This is a decent battery charge, not too many frills, only has one charging rate (8a) which is fine for most car, truck or tractor batteries, but may be overkill for smaller batteries like motorcycle, ATV or similar. I like that it can charge different battery types/chemistries such as Lead acid, AGM or LiFePO4, especially as these are becoming more common and you don't want to damage your expensive battery by charging it incorrectly. The charger case has somewhat of a cheap feel, the stowable hook is nice, but seems sort of flimsy (I don't expect it to last the life of the charger). To use, you hook up the clamps to your battery terminals, plug the cord in to a standard outlet and then choose the type of battery and it starts charging. The price is solid for this charger.

This has been great in keeping my mower battery charged and maintained. It is a must have for any battery that isn't used daily. Easy setup and very reliable.

It's hard to believe that this charger is priced as low as it is. You get a trusted name 8 amp charger that can charge lead acid, AGM, and lithium batteries for less than $25 at the time of this review. Comes with a fused pair of ring terminals, clamps, and a cigarette lither adapter that all work together with a modular quick disconnect plug.It's lightweight enough to be carried inside a vehicle at all times. I don't think it is completely waterproof, but it can withstand getting a little wet without issue, such as from short exposures to light rain.This particular charger even has a screen that scrolls text to show you what it is doing. One feature that this charger has that most chargers do not is a state of charge (SoC) indicator. The scrolling text will tell you what percentage charge your battery has when it starts charging. It has some circuitry built in to monitor the SoC and adjust its voltage and current accordingly. Unbeatable at this price point.The only thing I would change to improve the product would be a longer AC power cord. It comes with a 2-prong cord that is about 5ft. It's not super short, but the way the charger is designed to hang from a hood latch, there is no way this AC cord is going to be long enough to reach an outlet from a truck. It's not a major issue, I can either extend it myself or just use an extension cord wherever needed.If you are looking for a good, reliable vehicle charger and maintainer, this one is probably the best bang for your buck on the market today. Don't hesitate to get it.

This is a really nice charger for keeping a battery topped off It was super easy to set up and inexpensive. One of the coolest things about it does it has a little hook that you can hang it on a wall this works out great for us to keep our car we don't drive often topped off. It makes a lot of sense to have one that plugs into the wall because then you just don't have to worry about it when you need to drive. Often we would go out to our car and the battery would be dead and we would end up having to charge it then replace it because the car didn't get started that often this was a perfect solution. Overall the quality is good for the price. I recommend it if you needed to keep a battery topped off.

I have been using Schumacher chargers for years, and they are all high quality.This charger is very lightweight and easy to use. Being fully automatic, it is as simple as hook it up and walk away, I am currently using as a battery maintainer, it charged the batter and has kept it fully charged very well.Included accessories allow direct connection, a pigtail connection, or cigarette lighter connection. I use the pigtail for multiple vehicles. The cigarette lighter connection may not work in some newer cars because they shut off the circuit when the car is running, but it is just as easy to use the clamps.
