What a great idea!
This product comprises a bunch of blank pages (well, they're lined, but there was nothing written on them when it arrived) held securely between two hard covers, which can be secured by a strip of elastic that is anchored on the back cover and slides effortlessly over the front cover (lengthwise! brilliant!). As a bonus, one can put stickers on the covers or bedazzle them. The product also has a high-visibility yellow piece of fabric that is secured to the interior top of the binding but loose at the bottom, which one can use as a bookmark! This is a product that one can use with confidence if one wants a handy, portable device in which to write or draw things, and paste or tape ticket stubs, pictures or other things clipped out of magazines or programs, paint and PMS color swatches or hair to create a keepsake scrapbook.Sadly, it does not come with a pen, pencil or crayon (probably because Marines are prone to eat them even though the purple ones don't taste like grapes), ideas or writing prompts. That's the only reason I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars.

The paper quality is very good for this price range and each page has the ...
I bought this as a was to consolidate all my notes from various sources into one definite source. I am extremely please in the overall qulity of this semi hardback journal. The material used for the outer binding is rigid with a soft, lightly rubbery, coating on it. If i had to compare it to anything it would be akin to the soft rubber finish on most laptop palm rests. The paper quality is very good for this price range and each page has the upper right hand corner tagged for the date in a light gray. The only potential down side in the paper quality is that it carries a slight yellow hue to it. Additionally this is only offered in wide rule which I know is a deal breaker for some. One really nice feature is the expanding envelope to hold quick notes that you may want to save for later. The only reason this is not getting a five star review from me is that elastic band, which does not need to have been included, is a bit weak from only using it a few times. I can imagine that after consistent usage it would not stand the test of time.Overall impressions are that if you are looking for a nice looking and well put together journal you would be hard pressed to find better in this price range for both comfort and utility.

Perfect fit for my back pack
Bought this as a suggestion from a video travel blogger. It’s perfect. Fits easily everywhere, lightweight. A great suggestion to keep pics, videos and adventures organized.

Great, my favorite notebook
I'm swinging and HITTING with my latest product buys. This is a better moleskine and the best value buy I could find off this high quality. It has the close strap so that if you have any loose leaf stuff in there, it won't fall out. That's great for ideas books where you might throw some scraps in a the included inner pocket, or if you glue/tape stuff. Also, the cover material is soft and feels like legit leather, which I know it probably isn't, but it feels nice and I'm excited to get some metal stamps that I can then heat with my torch to BRAND these books my own and title them on the spine and the cover. BONUS.Finally, the paper responds well to fountain pens (which I use). It also does well with ball points. this is key, because I have another brand of moleskine type note book like this and it annoyingly cuts out while writing with a fountain pen sometimes. I think there's wax in the paper or something? I don't know. This book doesn't do that.I will keep buying this book forever if the price stays as good as it is at $7.99 each and over 200 pages each. Great deal.I recommend you buy this and I recommend you vote yes if below if you've read this far :) thanks!

Write your DEEP DARK SECRETS
So I've been reading and listening to various things about self-improvement, and one of the common factors deposited to me is to write down your negative proclivities; addictions, afflictions, frustrations. Let your thoughts have a voice outside your head. So when you go back and read what you have written It will hit you like a ton of bricks on an emotional level.Isn't one off the primary aspects of our lives to conquer ourself? How can we truly be happy when we suffer from such anxiety, insecurities, distress, addictions, mental issues. I think this is but a small and large step in that process of being a better person; better based upon your standards of what you consider a better person for yourself. And the hardbook is nice.

Perfect size for taking notes on the go.
Very convenient. Just make sure it doesn’t get wet. I’ve bought at least two for myself and others.

and don't like notebooks dictating how to format my writing
Will definitely re-buy this when mines finishes. I am really picky with organization tools, because I have my own way of organizing my ideas, and don't like notebooks dictating how to format my writing. Additionally, another concern of mines was that the writing lines were too big so that I seemed to waste paper. However, using it for some time already, I can say this little book has become really helpful, and my concerns were incorrect regarding this product. The amount of pages are plenty, and the cover is thick so that it looks that it is worth more than what Amazon is selling it for. I have even gone to Staples trying to find a comparable mini journal and they wouldn't meet the quality this one possesses and would be sold at more expensive prices, It even has a small thick pocket at the back to store small notes. I just love its and take it with me everywhere. It is such a compact helpful journal. Definitely recommend it!
