I installed these for protection against scratches on a black car and to improve appearance. They were an excellent fit. They're good quality, medium thickness, and easy to install. They not only protect but look great, too. I was concerned they may have a more silver like appearance, but much to my liking, they have a dark black subtle carbon fiber appearance. They have adhered well so far, and as long as the area is well cleaned with rubbing alcohol before installation, there shouldn't be any issues. Work out any air pockets that may occur during installation. Great price for the quality.

I installed these according to the instructions. Wiped and let dry the areas, use the adhesive promoter after cleaning. My car was in the garage for over 24 hours, so everything should have been fine. Nope, the moment the car was in the rain they started peeling. I used a heat gun to get the pad to re-adhere and they did for less than two sunny days.
