Polti Vaporella PAEU0200 Anti-Sheen Soleplate Cover [Energy Class A]

This is an excellent addition to the Polti iron I bought recently. I’d never heard of this brand but have found it to be excellent quality. This extra sole plate distributes the steam more evenly and glides beautifully across all fabrics.

Fits great and helps the iron glide effortlessly whilst protecting clothes

However I have always used these covers on standard irons and it has been no different with this brand of iron. Money well spent.

The Good ;- fits the Polti 505 perfectly, you can iron on full heat on black cotton with no shining, or hotter on more delicate material without direct heat. Price is ok but more would be to much.The Bad ;- No fitting instruction. Although pretty self explanatory people could end up fitting it wrongly, that would perhaps be detrimental to the iron.I’d recommend it if you have this 505 for sure

Perfect protection for the iron and clothes against too high temperatures.

Liked the idea but the metal spring is in the way where I hold the iron,making it a bit awkward. Used on my polti 505

With this in place it means you can stick to a cotton or linen setting without damaging your sole plate or most of your ironing i wouldnt try net curtains on this setting but pretty much everything else has been fine

Easy to put on iron but don’t really use it
