This product works well. It has a thick honey-like consistency and smells really nice. It holds well (I have 4b hair with thin edges) and causes a nice ripple pattern in my hair when it's layed down in a ponytail. It does not get hard so if you are looking for a super hold, I don't think this will do the trick. It only leaves a build up when you keep reapplying it over and over daily without washing it out after a few days. Unlike many other gels that work best when hair is wet, I feel like this gel works best on damp or dry hair. I've never tried it as a curl activator for a "wash & go" though. I've only used it to "lay" my hair. I don't even have to tie it down with a scarf afterward. Just apply, and go (scarf may be required for 4c hair though). I would recommend this product.

Excellent hold without build up. My edges are gray and they are hard to tame. This stuff really works.

I like that this gel doesn’t make my hair hard, yet it holds the hair well. I’ve been using it now for a few weeks.I’m very satisfied.

This prodict does the job the only thing that i dislike is it flaked my hair however it is thick and you dont need a lot but it does hold your hair and edges great.

I had tried several products prior to this to manage 'wirey grey' hairs growing in edges on my otherwise 'fine' curly hair, until this! I apply to wet hair, brush through, use fine tooth comb to banana clip for sleep - in the morning rewet any strays, recomb, let my hair almost completely dry then remove clip as finger fluff my hair. Works great!

Gives a great hold and sheen. Would have been perfect but it creates a white film while styling and flakes after drying.

I like the presentation, the scent, but there could be more moisturizing, and most of all, it's too pricy.

FINALLY!!!....a product that can handle my type 4 hair perfectly! I got the exact hold I was after without the flakiness and ashiness that resulted with other products. My edges looked great and stayed in place all day! I am simply delighted.
