Great DIY product
Update 9/11/2024 - Last Update - Finally got around to hanging drywall, and Oh boy did I not trim enough. Trimming is a huge pain. If I were to do this again I would not go out fully in the bays unless it was absolutely needed. My drywall has a big wave in it, I pulled it off trimmed more, but its still popping on one side. Luckily this is a closet so not too worried.Update 8/23/2024 - finally getting around to finishing this project. Ended up putting another 4-6 cans into this to get it to the full 3.5” of a 2x4. Once dried i trimmed using a 16” saw all blade hitting the bays from the left side then running it down the right side. Makes a huge mess but cuts through it like butter. Looks pretty good trimmed up. Couple pictures added.I was very skeptical at first, bought 5 cans, and the kit. I had a small wall that I needed some insulation on so I thought I would give it a try. Came out great, the picture attached was 5 cans (one can sprayed blue, all others sprayed yellow not sure why) did about 4 bays in most spots it’s about 3” thick, others is about 2”. Application was a breeze, just screw on the bottle and away you go. I forgot the applicator tip at first (most right bay in the picture) then put that on and it went even better. Clean out with the cleaner is perfect, spray and the excess product dissolves. I will definitely be using this all over the place now. Probably about 4 times more expensive than batt insulation but it is so much tighter. It would be worth it for a small DIY project, anything big I would go with traditional batt insulation just for the cost.

Works good
Shake the cans well and it works really good. Don’t be like me and try to save $40 and buy the cheap stuff first. This one is where it’s at

Great for crawling spaces.
I had to replace a large section of the sill plate on up. This product made insulation down there easy and went on effectively. At my age, crawlspace are difficult and the price vs ease of use was a solid decision.

Waste of money and time
The media could not be loaded. product sprayed well and looked really good once finished. I left to let it cure and the fumes to subside. When I came back it had expanded pasted the cavity I was trying to fill. I didn't think that was an issue and started to trim the outside of it down to stud depth. I then realized that it hadn't expanded that far to fill the void, it had released from the wall and created large air gaps with only a thin layer of foam as a cap. I then had to take the time to remove the whole case of product I had sprayed so I could redo it. This is a complete waste of money and time. Should have used Froth Pak from the start.

Consistent quality
This is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon but thought it would be important for DYI’ers. I tried another product that is purple and this was far better. Quality seemed consistent and laid down the same from can to can. Highly recommended

good stuff. doesnt get quite as far as you might calculate though.
I feel the coverage is very subjective by nature though. This stuff may work just fine with a relatively thin coat, but for my purposes I had to completely fill 3" walls in a severe arctic climate so I was not shy regarding its application. Therefore, I did not get the 240 board ft/can as advertised. Is what is it is.As far as insulating qualities goes, we will see how it fares at -40*F this winter but for now I can attest to the sound insulation and ease/versatility of application. 10/10 and 9/10 respectively.I found it was helpful to wipe the dust off whatever was going to be sprayed otherwise it had a tendency to roll off. You should also be aware that it is not a single-pass kind of thing. You should lay down a grid and the exterior edges then come back in like 20-30 min to fill in the rest.Overall, I recommend the product. Way better and much more cost effective than the usual fiberglass sheets.

OK not great
Everything came well packaged and in good shape. It was exactly as described. It came with all the protective gear you need when using it. The spray gun it comes with is nice, but you have to make sure to use the knob on the back of the gun to adjust the airflow. It is hard to get this dialed in right and I had to constantly adjust it as I was using it.Once I started, I was using it under the subfloor as a light coat of insulation, it was obvious it was not going to stick very well to the wood. As I sprayed it a lot of it was falling off the wood onto the ground. This seems more like the gap filler type spray foam just on a larger scale with a spray gun. It doesn't spray in a wide pattern like I was hoping for, so it took a long time to cover the entire floor.Overall, it did what I needed it to do but it took longer than I expected and there was a lot of wasted material that didn't stick where it was sprayed. I would not buy this again for use on an overhead project.

Easy to use and provides a nice thick layer with minimal mess
