Very bright! Doesn’t get hot!
The media could not be loaded. When fully charge it can light up the trees across a huge field! We love it!

Love the C port to recharge!
Easy to use and to charge!!! The light has a variable wide or narrow scope with two settings (bright and brighter). I don't use the side light but it could be good for camping and the car.

A pretty good flashlight with the extra area light in handle
During the testing of the flashlight for this review I asked my wife to shine it at a tree and press the three power levels so I could take a picture of each. After the photos, she shined the light around to see how it did. My wife liked that it was small, simple, and very bright. She specifically commented on the nice size. With the high spot mode it makes a well defined beam of light you can see into the sky. Shinning on an object it is almost a little too bright so very good for distances. There is another reviewer who has posted a good video of the light beam so I’ll forgo sharing the pictures of bright tree leaves. One potential issue is how quickly it goes through the charge. We just fooled around with if for about 5 to 10 minutes while using all the light functions and I noticed the four level charge LED’s in the handle had dropped down to two. I charged it again till the LED’s showed a full charge. It took 18 minutes to charge from two back up to three and then jumped suddenly to the full charge with all four two minutes later. I turned it back on and immediately the LED’s were back to two. Multiple switching it on and off made no difference; the display showed a charge level of two. (I noticed the other reviewer’s video also had only two charge LED’s.) I let it charge overnight and then the full four showed when I turned it on. So I do not have full confidence in the accuracy of the LED state of charge. It can show it is fully charged when it actually is not.It is stated to have an 18650 battery but I don’t think it is replaceable. The flashlight body does not seem to be openable. The area light is a COB which is nice and bright; actually a little bright to directly look at. The body is designed well. The front of the flashlight serves as a stand to keep the flashlight vertically up when you want to use the area light. The blue anti-slip coating passes over the area light in angled slits. I have mixed feelings about this. It’s nice to have the anti-slip coating surrounding the entire body but it does block portions of the area light. Also a good design is the hidden usb charge port. You pull the bezel out and the usb charge port is under that area. I think this design will keep the port cleaner and thus less charging problems. But it seems the waterproof claim is when the bezel (zoom) is pushed all the way in. There is an o-ring to seal the usb port. If the bezel is out (zoomed to spot) I question the waterproof ability. One final thing I like is the way the multi-function switch works. Press once for low, twice for high, third for the area light, and a fourth time for off. Then you don’t have to cycle through all the clicks to turn it off. After you have been at one light level for more than 10 seconds, the next button press will directly turn the light off. The high spot mode can be reached from any of the three lighting modes and even from off by simply holding the button down for three seconds. From high spot mode the next button press will always go directly off. This is a great little flashlight. A normal light to very bright with a zoom and an area light in the handle. It would be perfect if the charge indicators were accurate.

Issues I found
So I normally don’t write out a review. With this I will. So I am a truck driver. Part of my job requires me to check over my truck and trailer to insure it’s safe, I’m safe, and anyone else on the road is safe when I drive. I had purchased this flashlight due to it looking (and honestly when arriving it felt) really robust and heavy duty. I own several (what I wanna call) micro flashlights from this company. Small, fit in my hand, flashlights that have worked well for what I have needed. I just needed something that would hit that super bright setting in “those” moments. This flashlight seemed to be the fit. Shortly after getting it I brought it to work. The same night I brought it to work, I found that I was having a major air loss issue. I pulled out this flashlight the search for the issue on my trailer, and when I held down the button for the brightest light, it came on and totally shut off. Nothing on the flashlight worked after that. I personally thought the flashlight broke. Without going into details, I, the next day, plugged it back in. It somewhat reset the flashlight. Through trail and error I have found that I can use the first 2 settings on the light part and the 3rd setting for the hand light. If I try the brightest setting, my flashlight shuts down. I know that I am giving only 1 star with parts of the flashlight working, but for me having that bright setting for when I needed it, well… it was the main reason I purchased a flashlight and was willing to spend this much. It was a buy for my job.
