No more pain!
At 62 years of age, it was becoming harder & harder to kayak the rivers in my area. I usually spend all day on the river because I trout and bass fish. I was shortening my paddles to half day due to the pain in my buttocks & lower back. These thin seats which come on a fishing kayak are atrocious! I had to fine a resolution to reduce my pain if I wanted to stay out all day. Had thought of placing an old couch cushion in my kayak. I went to Amazon & was shocked that someone had the brilliant idea to create a cushioned seat. Thought I had to give this seat a try. Once my cushioned kayak seat arrived I was far more impressed with the design that I had originally thought I would be. It is so thick that I wanted to try it out right away. Did not have a paddle planned so I placed this seat on one of my dining room table chairs which is wood. Once I sat down I couldn't believe the comfort! The thickness does not allow any part of my buttocks to touch the wood chair. Each individual block (or honeycomb design) in the construction of the seat allows water to roll off and out. I have a walk in shower with a seat in it so yes .... I placed it on my shower seat to test it out before hitting the river. It takes a lot to impress me at my old age however this seat did not disappoint in comfort nor durability. It is so well made I can see this seat lasting for at least 5 years - only time will tell. I kayak at least 3 weekends every month. A bonus for me with this seat is that you can remove the cover and send it through a washing machine!!! Brilliant because anyone one who has fished knows once the fish is in the boat the smell it transfers to any fabric it touches is horrendous. Washing it once removed all fishy smells. A real plus for me is the anti-slip feature. Once in my kayak, with my weight on the seat, it never slipped out from under my buttocks. The seat stayed in place on it's first test run for approximately 3.5 hours until I got out of my boat to enjoy lunch on a boulder. I do believe this cushioned seat is what the 3 elderly women are using in the new Christmas commercial this year when sleigh riding. Yes, it is that comfortable, that the elderly can returned to participating in activities that they stopped due to pain. Now - my only reason for 4 stars - the only reason I cannot give this seat 5 stars is due to the 'I can lose this' factor. Anyone who has kayaked or canoed a river does not plan to tip over but on occasion it does happen. No functioning feature to adhere this cushioned seat to the kayak seat? In today's world with inflation and the cost of food, power bills, etc. $20 is a lot of money to me. I was bewildered that the seat comes with no option to strap it down? Bravo to the person who invented it but if it had a way to lock it to my boat seat I would give it 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot give it 4.5 stars or I would. I simply took a strap I had in my workshop and adhered it to the seat in my yak. I have used this seat it in the shower, at my dining room table, my old Ford truck which has 300,000 miles on her, my teak bench on my front porch, etc. Worth every penny! Love, love, love this product!!! 4.5 stars

Comfortable cushion
The cushion is made of honeycomb gel - it’s a strange sensation at first (I got used to the feeling though) and it is soft and comfortable. Much better than sitting on the hard kayak or canoe seat. The “holes” in the honeycomb design allows water to drain through it if it should get wet when you are paddling on the water. It has a nice cover that has a non-slip surface on the bottom to help keep the pad from sliding around. The cover can be easily zipped off for laundering. You can use this on any seat like taking to the stadium, in addition to canoes & kayaks

SUPER comfortable!
I have an older kayak that has a really thin seat. It has been hard to find something that fits my kayak and is comfortable. This is perfect! I am so excited to go back out kayaking now and be comfortable

Very Comfortable But A Bit "Bouncy"
This is an interesting cushion for any hard seat, not just in a kayak. It's made from a rubbery material that feels like silicone, and the waffle pattern makes it conform well and provide very nice support and comfort. I tried it sitting on a chair, and I was really surprised at how comfortable it is. In addition, for kayak use, the open waffle pattern will shed water and should make the cushion quick drying too. And, the cushion isn't just a flat pad. You can see in my edge on photo that it is shaped on one side to better fit a person's contour. The cushion comes with a removable fabric cover that has grippy dots on one side to help hold it in place. I'd say using the cover is optional as the rubbery cushion material is also grippy on its own.The cushion is really comfortable and versatile, but I have a couple of things that I wish were a little different. One is that sitting on the cushion feels a little like sitting on an inflatable pillow. It can actually feel a bit bouncy. The good news is I have sat on an inflatable kayak cushion and that bouncy feel is far less with this cushion in comparison. And, the included cover works well but it's very thin. I took a photo showing that you can see light right through the material. I don't know how durable and wear resistant that material will be. But it's not a big deal since the cushion would work fine without the cover.

Works and feels great!
I'm using this kayak seat cushion on my office chair that has a flat seat cushion. It works perfectly and keeps its shape because its silicone. You can see through the fabric in one of my pics and see that its a grid of silicone. It's fairly light weight so its portable and easy to carry. It feels very bouncy and floppy. It's easy to wash and dry as well. The cloth over it is durable and the color black keeps it looking clean.

Perhaps the best cushion I've ever tried
I often spend most of my day sat at my desk and the chair can become uncomfortable after a time. Over the years I've tried a number of different cushions, including memory foam and wedge shaped ones, but none have eliminated the discomfort. The Omoojee cushion uses a different design approach to anything I've tried before. I'm impressed. The honeycomb structure doesn't become impacted and it retains its "springiness", even after prolonged use, and I have definitely benefitted from using it.The cushion itself is quite weighty when compared to traditional cushions, and it is floppy in nature. However, both of these distinctive properties are irrelevant once it is placed on a rigid seat and I think this is the most comfortable cushion I've ever tried. It comes complete with a washable cloth cover. This along with the fact that the cushion itself is made from gel means that a spilt drink will not damage it. Of course, this means it's ideal for outdoor use as well.
