Sturdy rock hammer.
I don't need one but thought I should have one in case I ever want to break bits off some granite.Ideal, I've put it with all the tools I think I should have, just in case.

Dangerously not fit for purpose.
The media could not be loaded. As the video shows the head is not properly secured to the shaft the handle is loose, wobbly and likely to snap and or fly off during use… considering the weight of the hammer and the use it needs to be put to this is not only disappointing quality but also liable to be a very dangerous hazard. Not at all the quality I was expecting particularly given the high price. DON’T BUY!!

Cheap but effective at what it needs to do
If you’re using it a lot then you might go through more than one of these a year but at this price point it represents great value. I was using an estwing brick hammer on softer stone for a while but this little beauty is far more effective and less taxing on an aging body!

Does the job
I hadn't done any walling before but this was ideal for the kind of patch and mend work I do. It breaks Devon stone perfectly and is nicely balanced. I don't know how hard the people for whom it broke were hitting the stone but mine has been great for the last two years.
