Lots of interesting ideas, and the sketches are genuinely delightful.The book is really well put together, it looks great on a coffee table, and would make an ideal gift for anyone!

Awesome content presented in a very fun and easy to understand way. Find myself regularly picking up the book for 5-10 mins to read through. Really cool concept and excellent for coffee tables, etc where I find guests love looking at it and asking where I got it!

As a fervent collector of Jono’s weekly email and website Sketchplanations, now have a copy of his selected tool kit.Also works as a coffee table book; excellent size, informative and to the point, great quality, nicely laid out, handy index and useful references.As there were some Sketchplanations surplus to the book, and plenty Big Ideas available that did not make it in book, I am sure Jono can easily fill another volume!

This book is packed with big ideas encapsulated in little pictures, it is altogether different from any other book I have purchased. Was it Da Vinci who said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication?” The insights delivered by this book are amazing, they are also highly memorable. When thinking of a complex idea, all one needs to do it bring to mind the picture and understanding seems to follow.

This is one book that will not fall into the Tsundoku category (p. 238). Jono's book is a joy to browse through, spanning from some of his absolute greats to some hidden treasures that I had not come across before.I love the backstories to some of the sketches and the interconnections between different sketches.Whether you are a long term fan of Jono's work, or new to Sketchplanations, this book is a great addition to his unique way for beautifully explaining (what can sometimes be complex) aspects of the world around us. The book and his website of over 1,000 sketches go hand in hand - you should really experience both, to get the full depth & breadth of Jono's unique talent.

The book contains a really wonderful collection of ideas that are explained with great sketches. From ghost fishing and microadventures to Chesterton's Fence and Moscow prioritization, there are sketches that illustrate a wide range of ideas and concepts for everyone.

Love this book, as a big fan of Jono's work, great to have a book to show to family, it also has a a few extras that aren't on his website. I love the simple explanations of powerful topics.

Big Ideas, Little Pictures is an amazing book. Jono Hey has an amazing ability and skill to drill down and make difficult ideas very understandable. I haveso many "ah ha" moments from his book. I've purchased copies to give to my adult kids because the book so applicable. I've left the book on our coffee table because it is such a conversation piece and each idea/picture is worth sharing.

This book is a gem! I highly recommend it and i will be getting more to use as gifts. It’s filled with great illustrations of concepts in a simple and easy to understand way. If you’re a visual learner this is a great book to read since, its easy and gives you a sense of accomplishment very fast since, learning new things and getting through a book is fun and simple. It’s great to use with the kids in the car to discuss various topics.Bonus tip is to sign up for his newsletter to get weekly sketches of concepts and more. I’m not affiliated with the author, but I love stuff like this. Well worth it and I’d recommend it to all readers.
