The player sounds good for the price. It would be OK for a quiet shop, but for an open construction site, it doesn't have the volume. For the price the cheaper option for Marita.

Great little Bluetooth Speaker for Makita!I do a lot of work in my shop and around my property and really wanted to listen to Podcasts and Pandora radio without draining my iPhone dead from having the speaker so loud. This little guy packs some serious punch! I am amazed at the depth of the bass and clarity! It fits my OEM Makita batteries perfectly and I have yet to wear down even the smallest battery when the speaker has been on for hours. I can’t testify to the lights function or anything other than Bluetooth connectivity and sound - which are excellent.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this speaker my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!

This is very cheap. Very poor sound quality. The charger is either defective or uselessly underpowered. I would not recommend.

I'm having a lot of fun collecting various devices I can use with my collection of tool batteries. Because I've got a lot of tools, I've got...a lot of batteries! These are a great way to get extra use out of your battery collection and, just as importantly, run them through a cycle every once in awhile as most tend to go dead from under use and not overuse. As for the speaker, its not going to win any awards, but it works great! Good addition to my collection! (FWIW: my favorite so far is a battery adapted glue gun!)

The media could not be loaded.  I'm impressed with this speaker. It fit on the battery quickly, the sound is great for a small speaker and it paired with my phone quickly.My husband will be using this at work, and we will be taking it with us for Rev-up music before hockey games. There is even a built in lights show, or you can have static light, or none, just push the button to cycle to the option you are looking for.Having this hook up to a Makita battery makes it fully portable. There are usb and USB-C ports for easy access. Making this a great, convenient option if you are on the go. Be it tailgating, camping or on the jobsite. The price point is affordable. Would be a great gift for any Makita fan, the colour blends well with the rest of the line.
