New BalanceMen's Fresh Foam X 1080 V13 Running Shoe

Most comfortable New Balance
First pair of all white 1080's and they look clean. Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.this is my 3rd pair of the 1080's. I usually buy the year older release so I'm not paying retail but they are worth the $160 if you want the newest ones. They are really lightweight and they fit true to size.the foam feels like your walking on pillows. The fabric is pretty durable i haven't ripped a pair yet.

VERY comfortable and good foot support for a lot of activities
If, like me, you're a little more "mature" than the average bear, but still fairly active, and have an athletic 200+lb build, but relatively small foot size, at some point, arch support and impact mitigation become more and more important to prevent or mitigate incipient planar fasciitis. Thats been my situation in the last year, and I looked at a lot of possible solutions, including some high end specialty products from local stores (high end pricing, anyway) and installable arch supports, etc.I do a lot of walking, but with two artificial hips, running isn't possible anymore. After trying a number of potential solutions to alleviate my foot pain, I turned back to my old favorite shoe brand from 15-20 years ago, Steve Job's favorite, New Balance. Checked out what they offered, and decided to try a pair of these. One of the reasons for choosing these also was their relatively relaxed weave and fit in the front, around the toes- I've had issues with a tailor's bunion on the little toe on the right foot.Well, these ended up being my solution of choice; I even bought two pair, a lighter color set that are my indoor shoes for around the house, and these darker gray ones for outdoor activities like my morning 3 mile walk, shopping, etc.Note, I found some other shoes with soles more like hiking boots for when I have to deal with snow- these New Balance are great on normal surfaces, but not on icy or snowy ones. The incipient planar fasciitis from last year is just a distant memory since getting these, even when walking barefoot now. Can't ask for more than that!

A great shoe for walking!
Lots of comfort in this shoe. Wow it appears to be so light, it also has such a strong core and makes walking for long distances nice and easy. The shoe is also durable. This is my second pair and I at some point soon will certainly order a third. Great shoe!

Soft soles
These are so soft and cushioned. They run a bit small, I first ordered my true size a 7 in men’s, but those were too small so I returned for a 7.5 and they fit great. Can’t wait to start running in these.

Good Shoe, Laces are a bit short
The shoes are very comfortable. The supplied laces are not long enough at 52” to allow for a heel lock lacing method. I had to purchase 60” laces and 65” would be good as well.

You just can't go wrong with these shoes
I'm 57 and new to running, so I did a lot of research to find the best shoes for a beginner with older joints. Comfort and support, especially for my ankles and knees, were my top priorities. After watching numerous videos and reading several reviews, I narrowed it down to a few options. Just to be sure I've covered all the bases, I even asked ChatGPT ,LOL, and to my surprise, it recommended these as one of the top three choices! To compare, I bought the top two recommended pairs, and these stood out on a league of their own. They offer incredible comfort and just the right amount of support. Whether you're a beginner or simply looking for a well-cushioned, supportive shoe, I highly recommend them!
