Saves 911 calls
This inflatable chair has helped my husband to get up after a fall, saving 911 calls. In past if he could not get up, my only recourse was to call for paramedics help. The chair is fairly easy to use. He can turn on his side and you slide it under him, connect the hoses and inflate. The downside is the 12 hours it takes to recharge the battery.

Avoid this lift system company at all cost
One month ago I would have given this lift system a 5 star review like every other reviewer. However, all that changed after I had the need to use the lift system for only the second time in just under one year after my purchase. The first time I used the system was simply a practice session to become familiar with its operation. After that, it was stored away for about 11 months before the need arose to put it into actual use. The system was hooked up and once again it worked flawlessly. The problem arose after the lift system was was put back into storage and the battery pack / air pump was connected to recharge the battery. After the battery packs four LED's turned green, indicating a full charge, they all started blinking in unison. This was something new that I hadn't seen before. So I checked and could not find anything in the product manual describing this behavior. I contacted Mangar Health Inc, the manufacturer of the lift system, to inquire about this issue. After returning the product serial number they requested, and proof that I had purchased the system less than a year ago from Amazon, I was told by their Customer Support person, a mister Owen Williams that I needed a new battery pack; and if there was any product warranty available, I would have to make a claim with the Amazon retailer partner who sold me the lift system. I tried to get a clarification from mister Williams that Mangar Health was telling me they do not provide at least a one year warranty on their lift systems, but after 3 days now, he has not returned my email.Mangar health seems to be one of those companies that make a truly useful and quality product, but once they make the sale, they simply want nothing more to do with you. Customer Support seems to be there simply to tell people to look elsewhere for customer support.Because of their abysmal product warranty practices, I can't recommend their products to anyone.

It's loud and heavy!
Way, way, way too loud when it's getting blown up, signal all the cats home. Can wake up someone out of a dead sleep.

This thing actually does what the video says.
What I liked about it was it really worked as the video says. It was easy to follow the directions and I feel more at ease because I can at 79 years old still get my husband off the floor without outside help.

A waste of money.
My nephew bought this for his mom who I am helping take care of. She is wheelchair bound her legs are extremely weak and she falls a lot. This worked well the first time, however it is difficult for her to try to stay balanced on her butt on these cushions especially as they are inflated. She tips sideways and falls off.Initially it worked ok, but now it doesn't even charge well...of course this very bulky item & it's charger got shoved away in a corner and we all lifted her manually hurting ourselves & her. We bought a lift chair for a better price on amazon also & that works better. It's too late to return this item but don't waste your $$ like my poor nephew did.

I've used it
roughly 10 times. It is fantastic. I have MS and am in a wheelchair, and if I go to ground I simply can't get up again. I talked to my provider about getting a Hoyer lift, and she suggested this. It is fantastic!I can't speak to the company support--I've never used it. But I AM surprised that there are not several "copycats" making this. It's dead useful, and stores in a VERY small place (unlike a bulky Hoyer lift). It's NOT cheap--I could buy 2 Hoyer lifts for this price. But it sure is a TON nicer than a Hoyer lift!!
