Excellent bag
Excellent bag, designed very well. Wish there was different pouches or an interior divider. I didn't find the velcro pouches useful. They were small and didn't arrange very well in the bag... otherwise an excellent bag.

My son picked this out for his birthday present...
My son is an AMT. That's ADVANCED EMT for those who don't know. He needed a bigger bag to carry all his medical supplies and his O2 tank. This fit the bill perfectly. He was like a kid in a candy store when he got it!

Thought there would be more room on the sides
I was excited when it arrived hopeing it would work for a man bag To my surprise not all my stuff fits so I use it as a trauma bag. Also no room for trquma dressings 12x30 10x30s not enough room for three bvms assort sizes.

Shoulder strap ripping off
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this product. It is comfortable to wear and houses are equipment perfectly. However once it is fully stocked we noticed the shoulder strap started to rip off. It does not even contain an O2 bottle. I have contacted lightning X about this but have not received any feedback. I personally feel that this is just a manufacture defect because the overall construction of the backpack feels extremely well-made and durable. I am hoping to get an exchange for a new one.

Lightning X
Never had a problem with my first Lightning X bag. I donated it to a church in mint condition. I'm really liking this one

Too good to be true
At first, I thought this bag was going to be my saving grace. I work at a tourist attraction and often find myself in locations where I have to carry a bag like this with me. I purchased 2 bags, and one of them ripped on us this last week. Sad part is it wasn't the plan A bag, it was our backup that ripped at the very top where you connect the straps to the bag.I will not be buying again and I don't recommend anyone purchasing one of these. If this is meant to be there in emergencies, it will fall short on you.

Would buy again.
First off I’m impressed with all the stuff this holds YET ITS STILL LITE!Whether a personal bag or one for your department. I like tear out pouches for specific things. The outer pockets are large enough to hold BP cuffs (adult and peds) with a stethoscope. The other side easily other assessment tools like a glucometer, pin light, TQ, pen paper, sterile water and a syringe for irrigation. The front pouch can be setup for killer bleeds, quickly addressing airway and P’s and T’s.The interior is large! I have oral and nasal airways with BVM, splints, triangular bandages, eye patch, gauze, cling, ice packs, bandaids and tape. This bag could easily be setup for ALS as well. While I haven’t tried I imagine an EZ-IO, intubation kit and tackle box of your first line drugs could be placed in here.I know that the manufacturer says a D and Jumbo D oxygen tank can be place into it if two pouches are removed of placed in the side compartments.I like the laser cut MOLLE; easily place some tear off pouches or IFAK’s. Another awesome feature is the pull tabs which can easily be grabbed when wearing gloves and due to the color seen in low light environments. Two thing I would change is some place to put gloves and a like better QC, one strap wasn’t sown over so it comes out of the adjustment end of the shoulder strap. Easily fixed but let’s face it the stitching isn’t the quality it could be from the factory using heavier duty thread. The second thing is velcro on the pull out pouches so you can have custom labels make then velcro on with “airway” “splinting” “bleeding control” “medications” “IV Start Kit” you get the idea.Be safe out there.
