this is a very good dustpan, it picks up the finest of dust with ease and it's very flexible due to the pan being made of rubber which in itself creates a nice seal to the floor so you're not chasing dust around.

When open the box, it seems a bit dirty. After checking it, it get the dust quite well. Assembly seems ok.

I like the fact that the Dustpan is made of what smells like proper rubber. It is very flexible and doesn't seem to leave that ridge of dust/dirt/crumbs like plastic ones. The only minor niggles are that they made the handle in three pieces no doubt for easier transportation/lower shipping cost but this means it's not as robust as a two-piece or single piece handle, it is expensive for what it is and it is quite small. I do like it but feel that it should be about half the price.

This ought to be great. But it's not. The pan is made of rubber not plastic Everything sticks to it making the emptying of it a real pain. I still have to use a small brush from a normal dustpan to get the bits out which somehow defeats the object. It's not cheap either. I shall continue to use having bought but I don't recommend it.UPDATE Seller/manufacturer contacted me directly. They do one that isn't rubber and sent it to me complimentary. I have used it this weekend. It's much better than the rubber one and therefore I'm prepared to not only say thank you but also suggest others buy that one instead. It's not perfect but it does what is needed without stopping and that's good enough for me. I'm also upgrading to 4* BUT only for this new one NOT the original which I still stand by every word written.

I had bought I few dust pans over the years and the all broke because they are made from plasticFinally this product is made from rubber and it wont brake I love itI can say only one thing go buy one

I have been trying for ages to find a decent dustpan and have even resorted to the ones dedicated to horses but they're too big for domestic use. I found this one on Amazon and at first thought it a bit pricey for a regular dustpan but having wasted as much money on bad ones I thought I would try it. It's pretty amazing - easy to put together although I only need two parts of the handle but it does exactly what it says 'on the tin'. It has somehow been designed to do the job and it succeeds. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who would like to dustpan that really holds all the dirt and easy to sweep into because of the soft rubber lip.

I bought this this for use in the garden to sweep up leaves and flower petals, for which it is wonderful, as the rudder base is flexible and lies flat on uneven surfaces. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. NOW for the reason for only 3 stars. The smell from the rubber is almost toxic, it filled my home with a choking smell, I put it in my garden shed and it did the same, as soon as you opened the door you were hit in the face by the smell. It now lives outdoors in the garden, but still smells. The long handles also are a bit dubious. They are in sections and are not stable. The screw in sections come lose and do not fit properly, but having said all that for the use I wanted it for it works, with the flexible base.

I bought this dustpan after a very long search for this type of model. All the other models are low and have an envelope system I don’t like at all. Finally I found a good, wide dustpan that does the job. Plus it’s made of rubber so it won’t split like all the other hard plastic ones. This is heavy, so if you have arthritis or if you are very weak it won’t be pleasant, But after a few days you get used to this. You can’t swing it around like the others. Overall very happy and will be it again in a few years when this one dies off!
