Excellent product, good value and sturdy easy to assemble
Easy to assemble and sturdy in use. Obviously, some wasted space with the height of the shelves being planned for both DVDs and CDs but looks good and will last. Liked the way the back is fitted with both tape and pins. The four "extra" plastic grommets are there in case any of those fitted already are not up to the job or you damage them in construction. I didn't have to use them but it wasted some time whilst I worked out what they are for. That was the only problems in the instructions which were otherwise clear.

A well packed flatpack.
I'm not the greatest fan of flat packed, but this item had good features. The quality of materials was good and the design was simple and efficient. Fixings were good quality and machining was better than average. Accordingly building was easy especially if you have space to lay it out on the floor. Not many tools are needed. I used a rubber hammer, a proper hammer (gentle) and a cross thread screwdriver. There were also additional fittings in case one/two were damaged or lost. My normal complaint is the instructions, but these were good. Due to the simplicity of design they were easy to use and illustrate. Another complaint I usually have about flatpacks is the backing boards which are habitually provided with panel pins to fix it. These are hard for average flat packer, as they don't easily go into the hardened surface, or anything, and keeping the board accurate and steady is full of error. I liked this item however as it has six part boards and some tape to fill the gaps. A drill with a smallish bit helps to stop the skidding panel pins. I used small screws instead. My only real problem was the tiny and inadequate "feet". These should be more substantial. This is not a criticism of the item in question, but the industry norm. In general I would buy other things in the range if required in the future and recommend such to others if ever asked.

Looks great and saved space
Easy to assemble, it looks nice, the tall version was perfect for my needs. The price is reasonable and it was packaged securely with thick Styrofoam around the boards so little chance of damage during shipping. It holds all of my DVD's and I'm considering getting a second one to hold all my CD's.It is a bit wobbly but came with a wall mounted doohickie to keep if from tipping over. I used the Velcro command strips and tested it out and it keeps it securely attached to the wall, I don't have small children in the house so this is sufficient

Avoid! Absolute junk. Cheap, badly designed crap.
Avoid especially if you have small children. This unit as is is dangerous. This is so badly designed and doesn't feel stable whatsoever, even when fixed to a solid wall. The join that joins the top and bottom parts together doesn't feel sturdy at all. The only way to make this safe is to buy additional brackets to join the whole thing together rendering it useless and unfit for purpose as is. The shelves themselves just slide right off as there is nothing to keep them steady. This is absolutely not worth the amount of money it costs. It's badly designed and cheaply made. It's quite frankly the worst flat pack furniture I've ever bought in my entire life. Complete waste of money. Avoid at all cost. Wouldn't recommend at all. Would leave no stars if I could. Not happy.

Functional but flimsy
I was looking for a large storage unit which could hold my retro game collection. The go-to option for storage is usually the Ikea Billy Bookcase, but that would have been way too deep for holding things like cassette tapes. This was a decent size, which based on my estimates would hold the entire collection and the adjustable shelf options mean it could be configured. It's quite expensive compared to the 'Billy' equivalents, but it was about the only alternative.I ordered it with Prime Next Day, and was frustrated that despite it showing as 'out for delivery', I was notified at 10pm that it would not be arriving - it arrived 3 days after it should have been delivered - you should consider that it is from a third-party supplier and not Amazon, and looking at supplier reviews this seems to be common issue. The unit arrived in 2 x boxes, which is good as it makes it easier to shift them around - it would have been large and heavy as a single item. The assembly instructions are good, and each part is numbered which makes it easy to follow along. The unit is really 2 x units which stack on top of each other, and here's where I have some grumbles. All that holds the 2 x units together are 2 x fixings on each side - normally, the rear panels you hammer on to such units add a bit of rigidity, but this case as there are 2 x rear panels all you are doing is adding rigidity to each part (the top and bottom portions which stack). There is no connection between the 2, with one simply sitting on top of the other - the fixings are not large or robust enough to give it any solidity. This means that the top can easily pitch forward or back from the bottom. When you assemble it, as there is a protruding base this means that it does not sit flat on the floor, and the weight can cause it to sag at the join - I recommend putting something under the mid point to take that weight when you hammer on the back panels, and be very careful lifting and moving it. For the price, it's not really good enough and I'd expect something more solid. Having said that, once in place it's fine, just be careful. Allow a lifetime to fit all the shelf supports - having so many individual shelves (each of the 3 columns can have shelves fitted in many different positions) is really good, although I do still puzzle at why the holes for the fixing points are in batches of 3, with a larger gap, then another 3 - why not just continue the holes all the way down to give even more choice. I ended up drilling some extra holes so I can maximise the options for shelves to suit.I've added a couple of metal brackets at the back where the units join to make it more secure, and am happy enough with it, but I do feel it's expensive for the build quality.
