I bought this little monocular to keep by my bedside. I have bird feeders outside my window and there are times I like to get a closer look at the birds while I am resting in bed. This does the trick! It's not extremely powerful but it's size makes it very useful for seeing things from about 10 to 50 feet. The little slide adjustment was a bit tricky to learn but now that I know how to use it, it works just fine. Nice purchase.

I am a legally blind person. I have some peripheral vision in one eye. I have expensive mono scopes for outdoors and seeing things at great distance, I also have some very expensive mono scopes that I used to watch TV with even occasionally read a document. These particular types of mono scopes are made for seeing things that are not far away from you. The problem is they are still very expensive. Problem solved this $17 scope. Does that job perfectly. I purchased one a week ago and now I purchased two more so I can have one in every room that has a TV in it. I know it sounds crazy but it works and it’s sure better than nothing . I recommend this model scope highly not just for what I’m using it for, but certainly for a child to begin T know how do use one. It is ideal.

I've only used it a couple times, so I can't speak to how well it will hold up, but it's surprisingly good for $15. I ordered a couple as gifts....handy, because it's small enough to keep on a belt or in a vehicle glove box.

The monocular looks pretty good and works fine. My only criticism is the packaging was flimsy and arrived crushed. (However, the monocular was not damaged.A minor complaint!
