Abu Garcia REVO Premier Low Profile

I have been using bait casting fishing reels for most of my adult life and I can say that this is the smoothest and farthest casting fishing reel that I have ever used. I spooled it up with 12lb Pline tactical and this reel zings off a 5XD crankbait 50 or 60 yards with ease. It does take a little fine tuning with the brakes and several practice casts to get the desired results, but once you do it is amazing how little effort it takes to throw a bait for distance. The key is to start with all the brakes engaged and make minimal effort casts and then start to adjust from there. I did this by throwing a junk crankbait in my front yard until I got it dialed in. Once I did, I took it out to the lake and proceeded to fish and I was instantly blown away! I have this reel paired for my cranking setup with a 7'8 MH St. Croix Mojo Bass Glass rod and it is a brilliant combination for throwing big crankbaits for distance. Everything else about this reel is classical Abu Garcia.

This is my nicest Revo yet! My lightest as well at 6.2 oz. I have it on an Abu Garcia IKE series 7"2 rode. supper light set up!! LOl have Abu Veracity rod coming. The reel performs flawless. very smooth cast supper far no matter what I'm throwing!! looks very cool as well.

Easy cranking when deep cranking. Main thing is pay closee attention to feel the bite

This is the smoothest easy to adjust reel I have ever used. I have 8 and will buy the Gen 5 when released, if this Gen 4 is improved I can't wait. Super sweet, perfect fit to palm.

Great, lightweight multi-species reel. The drag strength makes it great for larger fish.

Very good at casting light weight. Adjusting is very sensitive and took a little getting used to. The drag is very smooth. Fished with it several times and love it!!!
