I gave this to my newborn for Christmas. She is a little younger than the suggested age but because they are good teething toys as well. She’s currently using it like that, and the toy will grow with her.

This stacking tree is a cute early childhood toy. It's not a Montessori toy, however. If it were, it would be made of wood and all one color. The connecting holes and pegs in the center of the rings are all the same size, a definite improvement over other baby/toddler toys I've seen. This allows the tree to be assembled in any way the child fancies, as they explore various early physics and art concepts. The pieces are easy to assemble and even easier to take apart. I like that it looks like a Christmas tree when assembled correctly. I'll set it on a table this year and I guarantee at least one adult will want to play with it.A few of the silicone pieces have rough places where they were attached to the mold and it wasn't sanded properly. The largest issue with the toy is the A-B-C ring. When you look at the side with the capitals, they are correct. Turn the ring over and the lower case letters march backward in order. They read from right to left instead of left to right. This is not terribly useful in teaching a child to recognize the alphabet.Other than that this is a cute, well designed toy. Each ring offers a different play experience, and it's easy enough to put together that it will encourage a young child to experiment.

This stacking set arrived quickly and well packaged. The set includes a total of 7 interlocking stackable rings. The rings are made of a firm silicone that is perfect for chewing and playing with without having to worry about injury. The sizing for these are perfect for little hands, and is able to be kept in a diaper bag for travel. They each have raised centers that interlock with each other and can be mixed and matched. Each ring has a slightly different design that can be used to engage your child’s senses. The pastel colors are a nice touch to help with a calming visual impact. The price point for this set is affordable and comparable to other similar products. Overall, this is a great gift to your own child or for someone else’s and is sure to provide many hours of entertainment. Would recommend.

I ordered this for my teething baby and it is perfect for that. Baby is able to hold it easily and soothe her achy gums on it. I love that it will also be purposeful when she gets a little older and will be able to use it as a stacking toy. Would recommend!
