It’s cute and fun
We use it with the grandchildren in the garden in the early evening. Lots of fun! Miserable neighbour doesn’t like it much. Not heard an owl reply yet but it’s very authentic! Good fun!

Hilarious and brilliant!
We bought this for my mum who is surrounded with owls in the trees around her house - she was thrilled to bits to be able to run out into the garden and night (like a batty 75 yr old) and hoot back at them....

More ornament than whistle
It looks nice but is not so easy to make a sound with. Too difficult for kids. I’ve seen better & easier owl hooters. More ornament than whistle

poor finish
I had to work on the hole you blow into and the exit opening as well to make them usable and even then it is very tough.If this was carved by hand it is worth the money for that alone but it is not a good whistle

Pretty good, very cute.
Love this little owl to play around with - needs a little practice maybe, but you can get a half decent/convincing "t'woooo" with some ocarina type effort!

but really sweet little thing
Smaller than i thought, but really sweet little thing,and really does hoot like a owl when blown in the little hole top of his head.Can't wait to see my husbands face when he opens it, but have to wait until christmas.

With a bit of practice it really is quite good. A bit of fun but not sure it would fool an owl.
