I recommend ordering a size smaller. Although my measurement of ankle was accurate, the item was too large. However, Amazon credited a account and allowed me to keep.

dont get me wrong Im sure there are other people out there that use this ankle support but I really needed something very strong and this did not do it for my ankles.

I was looking for a replacement for an ankle support I have had for years that I used to play football (or soccer to you Americans) in every week. This looked very similar, but the main problem is the way it's stitched together. I got a large size and it fits fine, but the stitching that runs down my achilles is on the inside and when compressed, it actually digs in a bit. I will probably use this when I need support for my ankle when I'm not playing football, but even running in it so far has proved not too comfortable.

Being paralyzed on my left side for 27 years has its challenges. My left foot turns inward due to limited ankle control. I 've always used a shoe brace, but the hard plastic kept my leg, ankle bone, and foot in pain. I ordered this Champion slip on brace to keep the plastic brace away from the ankle bone. To my surprise this brace work so well I have discared the plastic brace. I work in the garden, run a weedeater in ditches and so far have had no problems. I did have to get use to walking normal again instead of swinging the brace. This little jewel allows my ankle to flex while keeping it from curling inward. It works with all my footware and cleans easily. Thank you Amazon for one more step back to a normal life.

According to the size chart, a size small should fit 6.75-7.75". My ankle, with the current amount of swelling, is 8.5". My ankle swims in this thing. It's way too big. Unfortunately, being a small, I can't order a smaller size. I contacted the manufacturer before writing a review to give them a chance to make it right and they blew me off. Either go down a size or two when ordering or just don't buy until the manufacturer fixes this problem.

I measured out to be a medium, too big! Now I need to buy a small.

Seemed like this would be ideal for my needs. Unfortunately, I ordered this product twice and got the wrong size twice. what's marked on the box isn't what's inside. Also the size label doesn't mean anything I have a medium size brace that is the same size as the Large
