This clamp is not fit for purpose. The metal, where the bolts latch on gave way upon tightening so it seems that it's made of cheap materials. Not a worry one should have when using it to secure a filter. All I can say is that I'm glad it failed upon assembly and not when in use. Don't buy this item if you want a safe and secure join.

product. yes it's flat so you have to bend it with your fingers you can buy premade round clamps at double the price if that's bothering you. I recommend, good delivery time.

Garbage waste if money will not fit ram carbon filter or duct fan loose as a twig in a tree do not waste your cash

As others have noted, getting it to bend into correct position is insane. If its something that isn't very sturdy, I would not try to clamp it with this.
