When the float valve and gasket from our pressure cooker went down the drain without our noticing (sound familiar?) and had an unfortunate encounter with our disposal, we contacted Tayama. Their tech support person was quite helpful about providing specifications for the valve, and also sent a link to a listing on a popular auction site - a single valve-and-gasket for $10. We decided to try these instead, at less than one tenth the cost. Although this valve looks to my eye to be very slightly longer than the original (say, 1/100th of an inch), I haven't measured it -- and in any case the valve and gasket perform flawlessly in our Tayama multi-cooker (model YBW60G, item TMC-60XL). Hope they work as well for you!

These are great. Lost mine for the second time so I ordered these. As expected, I found the one I lost but am still going to keep these for the next time. Fit perfectly. How annoying that they fall out. Had to turn my pressure cooker to slow cook because it was days till I found it.

I needed parts replacement for my instant pot. I put the item's name and serial number into my search engine and was able to come up with a u-tube video to show me how to fix the problem myself and showed me the exact parts I needed. Item was very inexpensive and delivered in a timely manner. All smiles.

If you have a power pressure cooker xl or other brand that this product fits you probably should just order this part now for safety stock since you will eventually lose the gasket down the sink. I was lucky to find the rubber washer once when I lost it but the 2nd time wasn’t as lucky. For less than $10 you are able to get a 10 cent rubber washer to still use your $75+ pressure cooker and will have replacements for the life of the pressure cooker. Bad design and the manufacturer should supply extras... Also you probably just need the rubber washer which cost pennies and for a couple dollars get 10 but that is another story... Wandering if an Instant pot has this bad design??? Probably not but something to consider if you are purchasing a pressure cooker.

I had cleaned my Gourmia pressure cooker & was drying everything when the silicone seal came off & the valve fell out. I guess the ring rolled under either the stove or the ridge because I couldn't find it.I called Gourmia to ask about it or if it was a universal part & was told it should be. I got these for the same price as 1 from them.
