Blue Runner Gumbo Creole

I ran across this product during a gumbo base search on Amazon, and remembered it being on the shelf when I was a little kid growing up in S. Louisiana. I live in an area of the country that, shall we say politely, does not have a full appreciation for Cajun Gumbo. This product completely resolved my problem and all I have to do is add shrimp or other types of seafood, as desired, for a truly exceptional bowl of gumbo. Please remember to heat it slowly, to prevent it from burning on the bottom of the pot or pan. The traditional Cajun serving method is to ladle the heated gumbo into a bowl or large cup and then add rice, as desired. Adding additional gumbo fíle is an option; however, this gumbo base is very properly spiced. You will absolutely love this gumbo base!!

My wife is a true Cajun. However it does take a long time to make good Cajun roux. With this all we need is a can opener and we are back in Southwest Louisiana. Great Stuff..... I guarantee!

THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. Flavor is great and it sure saves time. It's worth the price alone just not having to take the time to make the roux.
