I've seen a few negative reviews,but in my opinion,this roller is great,you can get a really good work out if you change your hand positions,left hand facing you, right hand facing away,or right hand facing you and Left hand away and a few other,plus no need to load weights on a rope,very convenient and it came with 5 extra grip training items free.

I've started using this in place of the walnut cracker grips and I have to say it's a tough workout . You have to hold it up and down to work both arms equally. It will really pump those forearms and burns good.

This works well, use it for normal and reverse grip, and also vertical position grip. You can adjust the resistance somewhat by pre-turning the end handles so their setting moves closer together along the threaded rod. But every use, one handle always seesm to work its way to the end, so you have to readjust it between uses so both handles are equistant from the rod ends. I've used all sorts of other gripper device styles, including the commercial universal gym grip stations and this one works pretty well. Wish it had some knurled knobs to optionally mount instead of the regular roll grips for another hand/wrist/forearm exercise position.

The adjustable resistance is a good feature. The down side to the design is that it only works the bottom side of the right arm and the top side of the left arm. Attempting to work the top of the right and bottom of the left reduces the resistance. Turning it around doesn't work because of the direction of the spring twist - it's the same which ever way you turn it.

My forearms have grown a ton since I started added this to my exercise routine. This is such a phenomenal product.

I knew that I would receive the bar with spring coils but never relized that 5 other items would be included. I ordered this piece of equipment for my 2 grandsons to add additional strength for the intended muscle group to give them the added edge since they both play a high elite level of ice hockey and baseball.

It's a fantastic equipment with no issue, great workout for the forearm with no weights requirement better then the original forearm roll with the plate on the bottom with the string. The unit have great structure everything it's sturdy plastic and strong spring. I did see one problem which explain the other review said it broke after couple of use, read the instruction but the most important of all it's the groove alignment make sure it's all align which is lack in the instruction. As the picture shown the first three is the correct way so you don't damage the product, and the last picture it's the incorrect way but I was able to perform the exercise this way but it can break the spring or the plastic due to the high compression don't recommended this way. As long the spring sitting inside the adapter properly it won't break the unit the red cap that has groove fitting into the rod that's also important.

This package came with more than I expected which made me happy. My only issue (mostly a personal one) is that it's not symmetrical. When contracting, one hand is top while the other is on bottom. If they made one with the exact opposite screw threading, I would buy it and be very happy. By the way, this is a very minor complaint from someone with big OCD.

Does exactly what it is made to do. You feel the burn. Came with an extra adjustable grip handle, nice touch.

Handle rubber came out after like 6th use. poorly design handle if you reach some decent resistance. fine if you're really weak i guess.Don't recommend at all
