Overall, I really like this lock. It's sturdy. And it's aesthetic looking. So far, it works really well.The only criticism I have is that it's difficult to understand the audio warnings it utters. Volumeis not loud enough and the sound seems garbled. But the lock itself works well. You can adjust itso the handle opens from either side of the door (no locking) -- or locks from the outside part of the door.(door knob opens from inside the door without pressing any buttons or unlatching anything).You can open the lock with a fingerprint, combination, or a key. When entering the combination, you can add extra numbers. For example, if your combination is 1234, you can enter 09123478 and the lock opens. (The added numbers decoy the actual combination if an unwanted on-looker is around). The fingerprint response is ultra fast. Touch the pad and the lock opens lickity split. I like this lock alot. (Say that 5 times in rapid succession).

Works well, feels solid. Fingerprint reader works great. Had it for a few days so we will see how it holds up over time. But I like it.I’m giving it 4 stars because the first time I ordered the battery tray was too small. But I returned it and my new one works great so far.

it didn’t fit for the standard door knob

While the lockset came in a nice box, there were indications that this item was previously installed. 1) The plastic protector on the strike pate was wrinkled with marks indicating it had been screwed into the door frame. 2) The spacers linking the inside handle to the outside handle were already installed, contrary to the instructions. 3) The instructions clearly indicated that ANY fingerprint would activate the lock until a master fingerprint was registered. Upon installation, the lock would NOT open with any fingerprint, indicating that it had been previously programmed and not factory reset. While the app helped me to start the process of registering a fingerprint, it took ten attempts for the system to accept a fingerprint reading, and then was very inconsistent in opening the door with the registered fingerprint. The digital code was hit or miss. While the hardware was very substantial and fit the existing openings perfectly, the electronics was a nightmare. I guess that is why it was previously returned.
