Infernal Affairs - the Trilogy [DVD]

These are Hong-Kong's answer to the Godfather Trilogy - but 1 & 3 are the best two! possibly why Scorcese combined 1 & 3 to make the Departed!!

It is misleading but only Infernal Affairs 1 is English dub the 2nd and 3rd movie are not. Movies 2 and 3 only have English subtitles. The dvd box set says English language but it is only the first movie. After getting two sets from the seller and both sets are the same thing with Infernal Affairs 2 and 3 with English subtitles only.

I watched them when they first came out, and now I've bought the DVDs. Still think they're some of the best films HK film industry has ever produced. The plots may be a bit confusing for some people, especially for European people it can be difficult to remember all those Chinese names of the characters, but they're interesting and intriguing films that are worth some extra effort!

I love this trilogy and it's a great collection for the price. The first one is my absolute favourite but the other 2 are still gold.

Great films from the Far East. The Departed which won an Oscar was based on this and not as good as Infernal affairs. The first and third are the best of the three films with the second more connecting I thought.If you like gangster films, these are recommended.

I ordered this top notch original trilogy, short version Is The Departed, good but not as classy as the japanese version. I had my refund after a month, so all good there, wiil try and order it again soon.

Good movie, very much like CIA movies, bit puzzling to me when get to second and third movie, since it backtrack on some clips, to show the conclusion, nevertheless, it's good.
