Use it for litter picking while out on my daily walk and find it will pick up all sizes easily. It only struggles with cans and bottles of a slightly smaller diameter then normal as it is optimised for Coke cans so you have to grab them with the ends. Later addition: I've been using this for a while now and for some reason, it seems to be stiffening up (or i am getting weaker with age).

Does the job
Generally works well although sometimes wider part is too wide and the tip won’t hold an item e.g part full plastic drinks bottles.
