A light for my aquarium
As the built in light for my aquarium had bust I needed a form of light and thought this was an easy way to have light again and not cost the earth.

Fine for aquarium mood lighting
This review is for BigTron LED Aquarium White and Blue Color Lights (58cm). Until now I've only ever purchased lighting from aquarium specialist shops before now, so I was somewhat dismayed when this LED bar turned up with minimal packaging and no product information, wrapped in a single piece of packing foam and plastic wrapper inside the Amazon delivery box. I wasn't particularly pleased to find no plug supplied either, just a USB connector which you will have to supply your own socket for. There is no on/off switch which means you either have to connect to a timer switch or keep yanking the plug out to switch off.Having said that, once the LED bar is installed in the tank it works well and looks good. The bar fitted perfectly in my 60cm tank with just enough room to accommodate the power cable at the side. The suckers attach well to wet glass above the waterline and the cable just about reached my extension socket in the cabinet below. It's not bright enough to illuminate the tank fully during daylight by itself, but it makes a nice auxiliary lighting in addition to your main tank lights. I have my LED bar on a timer to come on morning and evening when I want a more subdued lighting in the tank. I like my main lights towards the red end of the spectrum to bring out the warm colours of wood, gravel and fish and to help plant growth, whereas these white/blue LEDs bring a colder, fresher look to the tank. They would look especially good in a marine tank, or to bring out the colours of blue fish like neon tetras.

Excellent lights
The media could not be loaded. Excellent light for the price. Attached well to the lid of my tank and looks very nice when switched on. Jerry,Margo and Tom now think they are at a disco. Very happy

Not as bright as I thought it was going to be
Was rather dim for my fish tank

Only one colour
All LEDs are white except one where the expectation was for them to be half and half. Returning to try another one that says RGB.

NIce replacement aquarium light
I got this as an emergency backup light should the main light fail. Its construction is sound and appears to be a solid unit. The USB powered light is nice and bright, enough for the 90cm tank I have. Lightweight and easily attached using the supplied two sucker clips. The only bad thing I can say is the length of the cable is OK, but needs to be longer in my opinion. Even so, this is still a solid 5 stars for functionality and appearance.

Looks good Bright light The suckers stick well Good value
Looks good Bright lightBigTron LED Aquarium Lighting, Waterproof Fish Tank Light White and Blue Color Underwater (18cm)I tried this out on a 150 litre tank because I didn't have anything smaller. I attached it to the lid, off-centre, facing down. Even in that size tank, it gave a good light. It would be even better in a smaller tank (or if a longer light was used). In a bigger tank, I think the light could also look good, partly hidden, as a backlight or similar. The light is very bright close up and so, if used for that purpose, it is best if the LEDs are not visible at fish eye level, either directly or from a reflection on the glass, to prevent any discomfort to the fish. There are 10 LEDs in the 18cm light, 5 pairs of 2. The pair at either end of the light are blue, the three middle pairs are daylight white. The brightness of the light cannot be controlled. The light needs a 5vDC supply with the standard USB-A socket. Current is minimal, so any old charger you have hanging around would do. The cable is 1.3m long.

Not a bad aquarium light but could do with a plug adapter
Review from my husband:First off this is an ok aquarium light for medium size tanks. My tank is 100cm so this is a decent fit, but why is there no plug adapter? it really could do with one, just sayin.Anyway, it's USB powered so that’s good but sans plug, bad. It offers a really crystalline vibrant light that is mainly white and not very blue in colour when in action but it does a grand job of illuminating said fish tank, so no complaints there. It comes equipped with suction cups for easy mounting under the surface and it stays put too which is nice. Overall, it is a decent product but I think maybe a little overpriced, more like the £9.99 mark would be a better option. 4/5

Good and bright
It works very well and is very bright, but be warned that it is small. Even so, it was nearly enough for my 29 gallon, not quite, but almost.I switched it to my 5.5 gallon and its perfect there. I think it would be great on a 10 gallon as well.

Pretty good light
Seems like a pretty good light for a little tank. Good alternative for when aquarium lights eventually burn out.

Not a good light
This light sucks! Don't waste your money. It's not bright at all. It doesn't light up my aqarium at all. It's very dim and dreary. It also doesn't stay stuck. Constantly just falling off

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. I only got it today and I have been liking it. Only downside is there is no way to adjust the brightness. Wish it had a remote or something. But nevertheless, I still like how it looks and its working properly as of now. I haven’t tried submerging it under water to see how it works. But good for the price. Hopefully lasts long

Very basic light
Bright but really cheaply made. The price is really cheap. It is true you get what you pay for.
