Great product!
I just bought and installed this system and I am very pleased so far. Installation was super easy and straight forward. The device is very sturdy and operates smoothly. I placed each of the included three leak detectors under the dishwasher, washing machine, and water heater.I initially considered the Moen smart valve but because I would have to cut the pipe to install the valve, and pay a monthly subscription fee for monitoring, I decided to go this route instead. In my opinion this is by far the best way to go.Without realizing there was a difference I inadvertently bought the Z wave model. At first I thought that would be an issue, but a hub was included so I moved forward with the installation anyway. After setting everything up I am actually quite impressed. Binding it all together using the smart phone app was simple, but setting up the routine so that the leak detectors would trigger the valve to close took some time. But once I figured it out, no problem. The best benefit of this is the included free Z wave hub which I can use to add more home automation. The system works perfectly. This is a must if you want to avoid potential water damage.

This device works and will save you money and worry
We put one of these on our new home’s incoming water supply and lucky we did. Two days after we moved in the water pressure spiked to 160 psi which I confirmed on a recording pressure gauge I had on the incoming supply. The spike blew the pressure relief valve on my water heater and a filter on the incoming water line started leaking around the canister threads. However, compliments of my EcoNet Bulldog leak detection and shut off system, very little water was discharged and no water damage occurred. This device is smartly designed and manufactured with quality materials. I have 7 sensors scattered around a 2 story/ 2200 sq ft home and the WiFi extender that came with my system insures all the signals will reach the controller and actuate the Bulldog to shut off the main supply valve. It’s a “ see spot run” installation and is super easy. You only need a Phillips screwdriver.Don’t walk, run to your computer to purchase one of these novel devices if you have sleepless nights or worries while away from home about water leaks. It pays for itself the first time a leak is detected and damaged is avoided. As a point of reference for my review, I am 72, have 50 years experience as a mechanical engineer, ran my own mechanical engineering design firm with a staff of 20 engineers for 18 years and I am licensed in 2 states as a professional engineer (PE). I considered all the leak detection devices currently on the market and this one made the most sense. Clearly it was the right choice!

This works great
I bought this over the blackfriday, installed it, only issue i had is that smartthing integration didnt work, i email support and they sent me new box and the integration worked great on it. Its the only device i foudn where you dont have to cut the pipe, dont need any plumbing experience. I have 3 water sensors set up that came with it and 3 sensors i already had with smartthings. It really works great. Even if you dont have smartthigns, its a good peace of mind to know if there is a water leak or burst pipe the sensors would detect it and water will be turned off, and you can turn off water main from your phone when you are out.
