WORST CAGE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT
Bought this after looking at photos thinking it looked decent quality from the photos... ohh how wrong I wasCouldn’t return it as our Swiss Shepard had quickly outgrown his first (and very sturdy and well built cage) My other half had to bend the “hinges of the doors as they were all on the wrong alignment so the cage doesn’t actually lock properlyWe are lucky to trust our dogs... this cage is uselessAnd really badly built...Doubt the sellers will respond but do not waste £50!!!

Better than some but not good
I purchased this crate after a long search, reading review after review trying to find the best. This isn't the best nor is it the cheapest however it does the job. What I didn't want is a dangerous and poorly constructed crate from an unknown Chinese origin. What I received was a reasonable crate that is sufficient to hold at bay a large breed GSD/Husky. The construction is similar to the Amazon basic range that I also own with an equal quality but more expensive. The metal gauge is a thickness that is again adequate, but only just and like many on the market. So good enough with no surprises and arrived without damage which is always a plus and about 31/2 stars. 1/2 star lost as it needs to be cheaper and 1 star lost because it should be stronger, heavier but I would probably require a time machine to acquire those attributes in a dog crate. You could buy a lot worse i'm sure.Edit 18/07, spot welds are on the door are poor, the wire gauge is not big enough and not strong enough. This crate is not suitable for leaving a dog unattended.

All going so well until..
Got the cage a few months ago, all going well with puppy going in the cage. Unfortunately 2 days ago I woke up to my puppy screaming and crying in pain. I ran downstairs to find my puppy in so much pain with her hand attached to the cage. The bottom of one of the wires was not attached to the bottom part of the crate and in the night she must have been playing and somehow got her hand caught through the wire. The vets could not come out. My boyfriend was in hospital so had to call his dad who lives an hour and half away to come cut the cage to get her out. We had to then pull the wire out of her hand as it had gone through.I now have a scared puppy, a cage that she won’t go near and a £80 vet bill to pay.I just advise pushing the wires at the bottom to check they are all attached before letting your puppy in it.I have attached picture of the cage now, her paw bleeding and her while we waited for help - I put a teddy in front of her to stop her looking at her paw.

Good for average sized people and large dogs (i don’t know about having them in together, sorry).
This cage was bought because my parents were sick of me escaping from my old one; the cage itself is very sturdy and didn’t take long to assemble, it is also a great size for me. I feel really secure in my new cage but hopefully soon i can escape again because i want to be free.Overall, this is a good cage. 8/10 would recommend to parents with difficult teens (and maybe dogs too).

Excellent size with 2 handy doors
Bought this to house a German Shepherd puppy at night, & with the view of using it when she is fully grown when on holidays. Excellent size with 2 handy doors, it is very easy to erect & folds flat in seconds. Has very useful plastic base for any mishaps. Very good value for money & it was delivered quickly & arrived undamaged due to excellent packaging, would recommend.

Perfect for my German Shepherd
I brought this crate for my 8 week old puppy, who is now 13 weeks and has plenty of room, I brought the XL for my german shepherd and by the look of it it will last a while yet... Very sturdy crate I purchased a nice mat for the bottom and placed in a dog bed and blankets at the back, it's big enough if needed for a training pad near thr door at the front... Easy to put up and take down but it is quite heavy if you have to move it around... Very happy with purchase

Nice and roomy - not really portable when set up.
Nice and big - plenty of room for our 40kilo lab. Very straightforward to set up. Top bottom and two big sides are all hinged together. You unfold it and then weave the curved hoops on the top of the two end gates into the top to lock the whole structure . Comes with a carrying handle that's a thin wire loop - no way you could carry this with the dog on it! If you want to use in car it's going to need fold flat seats and you won't get much else in there.
