I was forced into surgical menopause recently and was taking the Now Food brand extra strength Soy Isoflavones.The Natrol brand seemed much cheaper (so I bought it) and now I know why. They are way too weak for me and way too expensive if I have to take 5 to be equivalent.I tried taking 2 a day and I flashed like crazy. Not only that, I would get that horrendous death-like "aura" just before. I can tolerate the flashing but the aura kills me. I realized that this wasn't a deal if I had to take so many. With the Now Foods extra-strength, I only need one, it does the job and, as a result, is cheaper.I'm giving it 4 stars because the amount someone needs can be different. This isn't the fault of the product. In fact, I gave this bottle to my aunt, who is a senior and doesn't need nearly as much I as I do.

I love that this is organic but what I don’t like is that I have to take five pills just to get the 50 mg. I wish the 50 mg was in one pill. I am taking these to get pregnant. This is my first month on them and so far it’s just me and my period longer. Hoping for a BFP in a week!! I received my order and was worried that I wouldn't get the 2 bottles as advertised like other reviews had problems with. I got 2 in my order and just started taking them. Went off hormone patch and hoping these give relief of hot flashes. Starting with just one pill a day then will increase as I am sensitive to any medicines, vitamins and supplement. Will update after a month
