I bought these because they were rigid spouts. I have an old school gas can my 70 year old father gave me and one of the newer gas cans with the dumb safety feature nozzle.It worked perfect on the new one with the safety spout. I thought the drill bit looked a little large but I just did it because I hate that gas can anyways. Everything worked. I even turned it upside down with the caps on and everything and no leaks.On the old one, I had finally broken the spout. When I tried to replace it, none of the new caps worked so I put the new spout with the old cap and it was too loose and leaked. Simple fix with a large rubber grommet. It wasn’t meant for gas cans that old so I can’t fault the product and I still got it to work.

Can’t even find them in brick and mortar stores anymore. They just want to sell a whole new gas can with stupid safety features. These have adapters to fit multiple old style cans at a great price.

I got these nozzles to work on cans from both Blitz and Sceptre. So far, no leaks. But there were leaks at first, so here are the tips. The wide caps are used for the spouts, but don't use the small rubber washers in them. They leak if you use a washer. But they don't if you use no washer. Strange but true, in my case at least. And for the spout, make sure that the top edge of your can doesn't have any plastic burrs, mold ridge, etc. Mine did and it made the rubber gasket on the spout not seal well. After trimming it down with a knife, it sealed well. I haven't tried installing the vent. And, we'll see how well they hold up in use. But the plastic seems fairly thick and sturdy, so I expect it to wear better than the thin, flexible spout kits.

Worked great, with the vent that is supplied it improved the flow of gas.

These spouts are very well made. I have bought different ones before and they did not last. I love the fact that they had the bit for the vents included. Swapped out my cans in less then 10 minutes

The spouts and caps are awesome. The washers are not meant for fuel. They are eaten up in less than 2 weeks. For the cost of these it's disappointing to say the least.
