Love knows no bounds
A wonderful story of love. The charters in the story are very real and you root for their happiness. I enjoyed the story and plan to read the 2nd book in the series.

Sandy Taylor is amazing!
The entire series of the Irish families was wonderful, so I am now reading the British girls. If you love being swept up in a story, you will laugh and cry and fall in love with the very real characters on these pages. I have read series before, but never seven in a row!

I Love to Dance
I was a little Confused with the title and the way the book started. Now I understand and love it. Sadness abounded during WWII for our heroine and others, but Maureen sure was dealt a heartful.

Light read
This was a nice light read, however a bit predictable. It dragged in some areas, and I had a hard time finishing it.

Utterly involving, laugh-out-loud funny, heartbreaking and beautifully written book. Bravo, Sandy!
If you read this book for laughs, that would be enough. The one-liners from five-year-old Olive are hilarious, but the story and the picturesque descriptions are captivating too. I just loved this book, and you will too. A master storyteller has you by the heart.

beautifully written
I was born in Hove and Lived any played in my teenage years in Brighton .It bought bag so many memories both happy and sad. Wonderfully written, I was there in the book right up to the end of the 3rd book. Morals were very different then. Rita was my Mum who thought she was too good for a Council Estate. As kids we were not aloud to go to the street party for the Coronation because we would have to mix with the other kids. Maureen was a brave woman in the story especially when Jack was killed. I was surprised the the Regent Ballroom and Syd Dean and his band did not get a mention but of course the families were dirt poor but so happy and the Regent would have been well passed their means. but I loved, loved , loved all 3 books more please I will now follow this Author a wonderful writer . you fall in love with the characters from page one. I wish I could read it all from scratch without knowing the end. 100% wonderful.
