I live in Utah and in the summer it gets extremely hot and at night it gets much cooler. With the temperature fluctuation all the other mounts I've bought fall off or literally melt and you end up with a piece of junk. It's also very easy to take off the phone but putting it on one handed is annoying. You have to hold the phone with your palm while trying to get your fingers into a good position to clamp the phone.In all its totally worth the money but there are definitely better options for the same price or cheaper.

Follow the instructions to mount. Could not get it to hold on any of my dash surfaces ,(BMW 7) which is not really surprising. Once I found the best position and fixed it to the windscreen it has not moved since, I get the feeling that it may never detach unless forced. With the bottom cradle fully lowered it holds my Galaxy S9 (in Lifeproof case) without any problems and wireless charging works seamlessly for this setup. Phone placement is quick & easy, just sit phone on bottom cradle and gently squeeze the two side arms until snug against the phone and then rotate from portrait to landscape positions with ease. Removal of phone just requires a quick push of the release button on rear and the side arms slowly open. I believe it will be prudent to treat this mechanism with care as it may not take too much force to damage it. Certainly worth purchasing if you need to secure your mobile in the car with the added advantage of Qi wireless charging.

Not as advertised. Does not fast charge with Samsung like it say. Actually says it's not compatible. The lower arm doesn't drop low enough to charge my phone, I have to push down for it to charge and hold it. This product is not worth the money in any way. I have an older one from this company but the suction cup arm broke. That one I would recommend but not sure if you can get it this new version is garbage. Don't buy.

This is for the Qi suction cup mount version. People are complaining about the mount not 'keeping up' with GPS and a bright screen. Well...yeah, that's Qi, which can supply at most ~800mA, and while Google Maps typically runs under that power limit, Waze is a massive power hog that only a plug connection will keep up with.The mount is very sturdy; the suction cup is, if anything, TOO hard to get off a windshield - but I imagine it works great on a clean dashboard! (Haven't tried it yet.) If you get crap on the cup, it rinses right off with water and goes right back to being incredibly sticky.HOWEVER: the most annoying thing about this mount is that it INCESSANTLY goes into 'standby' mode after charging your phone. You have to unplug and re-plug it!This charger is somewhat picky about USB power sources; it didn't 'like' my Anker QuickCharge battery bank, for example...flashing the blue light during charging. There's no documentation for what the light modes mean; what does blinking blue mean? Who knows, it's not in the manual.

Bought to keep my new Pixel 2 (not XL) Google Fi phone charged while driving. Does this job well, even with this non-Qi enabled phone. Bought a charging coil and placed it under not-so-slim phone case. Battery keeps charging despite running simultaneously Bluetooth audio and Waze navigation (the latter being a known power hog). Having used several non-wireless car phone holders attaching either to the dash or to the windshield, I have found that the most steady mounting is achieved when in addition to the standard suction cup attachment, the holder itself rests on the dashboard. Unfortunately this model has an extendable support on the bottom, designed to optimize vertical position of the phone in respect to the inner holder coil. It serves its function, but freely slides in when pushed, making it impossible to make the holder rest on a dash. As a result the modern heavy phone ends up suspended on a long bendable leg. This leg, while being pretty stiff and requiring quite some force to bend into the desired shape, does nevertheless vibrate quite a bit on every bump. I am disappointed by such an inconsistent engineering quality.

I bought this based on a co-workers recommendation and when it first arrived it worked perfectly. I have an Otterbox commuter case on phone that allowed wireless charging without removal from case. After about 3 weeks it will no longer wireless charge with case on and will wireless charge with case off but has a very noticeable heat buildup and seems to charge much slower than it did originally. As how it functions as a phone holder I really like it and have resorted to plugging in my usb cable and just using it as a phone holder rather than fuss with case removal to get a slow wireless charging experience that I fear is getting to hot and may damage the phone if I continue to wireless charge.

i use it every time I'm in the car. fortunately the vents in my Honda are perfectly positioned for this, so it holds the phone at the perfect spot and charges the phone without connecting a charger to the phone

The 'pipe' that connects the suction pad to the phone holder is just not rigid enough. As you drive along, the pipe adjusts, and the phone moves, so that it faces a different direction.

J'ai acheté le modèle qui fixe le téléphone portable à trois pattes, et à l'intérieur de la boîte se trouve une base magnétique, qui, soit dit en passant, est l'une des pires qui existent. Cela ne correspond même pas au plastique de protection, et le câble ne vient même pas dans la boîte. Vous m'avez vendu un produit différent de celui annoncé.
