Awesome Quality, Easy To Use
The media could not be loaded. Â Bought this to see what sort of creatures are lurking in the backyard. So far I've captured raccoons, foxes and coyotes.Had a few false triggers from some tall weeds blowing in the wind, but once I removed those I'm only capturing wildlife.Set up was easy and the SD card that came with the camera is a nice bonus.

Not 0.1s trigger, but still very good
The media could not be loaded.  Camera arrived well packaged and protected (not only the body of the camera but also the lenses and LCD.Setting up all the camera settings was very intuitive and easy for anyone that has had other brands/models of trail cameras previously. While putting 8 batteries into the unit isn’t that difficult – having them in a tray that slides in and out would be preferred. I like the design of the grooves in the battery compartment which keeps each battery in place rather than sliding from cell to cell though. My preference of the memory card is the next size up from the MicroSD. Again; working with this small of a card, in a cold/snowy environment during hunting season can be tricky. Handling a larger object is easier in a frigid environment. And you'd be lucky to find a MicroSD in snow or leaves.PIR setting – I really like the ability to adjust motion detection sensitivity, unlike my Browning trail cameras, but wish it wasn’t limited to just 3 settings (maybe a scale of 1 to 10).The first thing I noticed when setting up in the field was the difficulty of getting the unit positioned, and secured, correctly the first time. This was mainly due to the buckle of the strap not having any teeth and the strap not cinching up. I would much rather have an alligator clip on the end versus a plastic buckle. I would recommend replacing the strap.Turning the camera on, in the field, was a piece of cake – just slide the switch all the way to the right.Overall picture quality is excellent. This comes with a couple caveats however. I had some “close up” photos of deer that were totally white outs (like a flash went off vice IR), and some blurring on running deer.I noticed that while the manufacture boasts a very fast trigger speed it appears to be slower than my other cameras. A fast-paced deer, at close range, will almost be out of the FOV when the picture takes. In burst mode you will get one and one-half frames of these type of shots. *Note: no problems on walking animals.False readings – My field evaluation lasted approximately 2 ½ weeks. I had the camera set for 2 photos’ followed by a video with a 30 second reset time.Total videos: 201.Total Pictures: 401.Videos with no animals: 45Pictures with no animals: 98Triggering distance is VERY GOOD.Audio – This would be the lowest rating in this category as the only time I can hear audio is when the deer smell the camera and very weak leaf crunching – but only when they are extremely close.USB port – I hooked the camera up to my computer, as instructed, but no “Removable Disk” showed up in my drive list. This is on a windows 10 laptop by the way. I ejected card and read data directly from the card.I would like to add that you get more than what you pay for with this camera. The good qualities certainly outweigh the bad qualities. I added 1 video of the night vision picking up a buck to show how good the quality is. I highly recommend this trail camera, just buy a different strap and you're set!

Take time to the test setup
The camera comes with a 32 Gb micro SD card, but that might not last very long if the camera is set up in an active area. At medium sensitivity, the camera used over 2 Gb in about 12 hours overnight, and the problem was that, while we have the occasional opossum and raccoon, most of our wildlife is limited to cats, birds, and squirrels. As it turned out, I got none of those critters on the card. The only life shown was me when I came to check the card.I'm not sure what triggered the shots, but it might have been plant movement or leaves dropping. As near as I can tell, the sensitivity on medium may still be too high. There is also a delay before the picture is taken, so that even when I caught myself with the camera, I was already pretty close to it and had been in the frame for a while. The picture quality isn't bad, and I like the short 10 sec video after each picture, but 35 videos and 35 pictures in one short period of nothing in particular is going to fill the card pretty quickly. Obviously, for a camera at this price, the only connectivity is provided by the operator when you check the card on your computer. Still, I look forward to playing with this and seeing what I capture.

Can be mounted using normal tripods
Well made and sturdy, good picture/video quality. Relatively small size (used a standard sized tin can for comparison)Product came shipped with a 32GB card and batteries to run right out of the box. Mounting options include a strap option (trees, posts, etc) a small disk and tilt mount (like on a cell phone holder or radar detector) which screws into a fitting in the bottom of the unit, which is the same pitch/thread and size as my webcam and numerous tripods use. This gives the ability to easily use for indoor monitoring (I'll catch ya yet, Santa!)I set this up to monitor a location in my house for 24 hours to see what results I came up with. There are a lot of options that you can set on the control menu, but I went with the defaults. When I pulled the card (no included adapter, you will need a SD to USB or similar) and looked at the photos and video I got a good sample of the location. Images were good and clear whether in daylight or night, obviously the IR illumination does a good job for the camera. Can be run from an external power supply (not included) and seals up tight to be weather resistant. There is an option for locking the camera with a small padlock or similar, but since its merely plastic extrusions in the case, it would only keep an honest person honest.I intend to use this to get some action video of the backyard critters and make sure that I don't have any unwanted (I live in the Southwest) pest critters that have decided to include my home in their territory. You can review the pictures and video using the inbuilt screen, which you can also use in test mode (see last picture) to verify camera function. .
