I was skeptical, but this saved our diapers!
We've been cloth-diapering for just over 14 months, we use a mixture of Fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius pocket diapers and some BG all-in-ones (the BEST if you ask me).I saw the RnG in a specialty shop before my son was born and thought it seemed like an awfully small package and decided to pass it up. Until recently, we've been washing our diapers in regular detergent. I'm not loyal to any one brand, I just prefer unscented, as natural as possible, and then whatever is on sale. This seemed to work out okay until my baby was about 6 months old, then I noticed his diapers had started to reek even when they were just wet.I had had to stop nursing and start formula, which I think stinks quite a bit just on its own, so I thought that could be the issue. We were having terrible problems with leakage, too, he could barely make it half an hour without pee soaking through to his pants, but again I assumed maybe his urine output increased because he was getting more at each feeding with formula. But the problem persisted after he turned a year old.I started Googling "stinky cloth diapers" and learned all about the evils of detergent buildup and using the wrong detergent/amount/method for diapers. It just so happens that apparently All Free and Clear is awful for diapers because it contains a brightening agent that builds up on fleece. Go figure, this was the most recent detergent I had purchased. I tried several times to strip my diapers and started washing them in just baking soda. They still had a musty funk when they came out of the dryer. I thought I had ruined my expensive diapers for good. And for all the glowing reviews I read of RnG, it was the few negative ones that made me nervous. It would be just my luck that it wouldn't work for me. Then I couldn't decide between Funk Rock or Hard Rock. I went for the hard rock and did an overnight soak with it before going to just regular washing.I will say that the magic wasn't instant. I still detected a faint musty smell after the soak and the first few washes. But now not only is the smell totally wiped out, the diapers and liners are softer and fluffier and brighter than they were before. They were getting to be a little dingy with the regular detergent. For the record, I have a top-loader, nothing fancy, I live in an apartment and it came with the unit. I run a cold cycle with no soap, then a hot cycle with a cold rinse (my machine only lets me rinse cold) with 2 tbs of Rockin' Green. My diaper loads are usually small to medium but I set my washer for a large load for the most water. Sometimes I do another soap-free cold cycle after but usually stopping after the hot wash is fine. Then I tumble dry low. This stuff is amazing, don't write it off if you don't notice an immediate difference. And it's a small package but I was surprised by the heft it had to it, and at 2 tbs per load, it'll last a while. Plus if you only use it for diapers...well, we were down to once it twice a week but now we have two in diapers so we wash about every other day if not every day.

Great for Workout Clothes
I've been using Rockin' Green Laundry Detergent for a few years now. I use it for all of my family's t-shirts, shorts, sweats and workout clothes - anything that we tend to sweat in. Rockin' Green is really good at cleaning and removing any odors.

Clothes are really clean, but makes my skin prickly
When I do a load of laundry with this detergent, they look, feel, and smell super clean. Unfortunately I can't keep using it because every single garment (save for a few) that were washed with these makes me feel like a bunch of needles are stabbing in my skin. I do have sensitive skin and generally find that I have to use hypoallergenic detergent, so it's probably me and not the product. If you have sensitive skin keep it that in mind. Otherwise, great product.

My son’s boxers have NEVER been SO clean!!
I have an autistic son who has issues with making it to the bathroom to go #2.I’m constantly replacing boxers because I feel like after I wash them they are still “dirty”. Even when I was using a sanitize and oxy clean cycle and oxy wash and detergent X2 on them!!Then I thought of cloth diapers and what you use to wash them!!!It was like a light bulb 💡 moment!!!Today I washed them and patiently waited to see the outcome.I was skeptical 🫤BUT, they have next to NO visible stains on the ones that were stained terribly. The newer ones have nothing!!!I feel like they are clean and fresh and I feel confident as a mother giving these to my son to wear. This is a product that is going on our recent buy list for sure!!!

Soft diapers again!
At both 8ish and 14 months into cloth diapering, had been exclusively using tide powder detergent, I noticed my diapers were just getting stiff/not very soft anymore and my son was getting some diaper rash. The first time, I just changed my prefolds size up(second size of petite crown) and it temporarily fixed the problem, the second time I needed to actually figure out a solution. A few runs of Grovia Mighty Bubbles helped my issue a bit, which confirmed my suspicion that it was probably hard water build up in the diapers. I had RLR in the house but for whatever reason just didn’t want to really use it. Figured it was my last resort if everything else failed. I had also purchased Hard Rock and Dirty Diaper Rockin Green (anyone else mass buy things that might help you solve your issue?). I do two heavy duty washes(Frigidaire top loader, max fill washer), first in warm then second wash just prefolds on hot with a soak which extends my heavy wash cycle. I started running the first wash with Tide powder to line 4, second wash I do a hefty scoop of both the hard rock and the dirty diaper detergent. The first few times I noticed them coming out a little softer. Started drying on low for 60 minutes, then air drying to finish them off instead of just drying on high heat.I don’t think I’m ever changing this routine. I feel like it’s just the perfect combination. The diapers continue to come out softer, I know the hard water build up is being prevented, I just couldn’t be happier. I’m going back and washing the first prefold size and I’m seeing the results repeated. If you have hard water and know it (hello mineral deposits on your shower and faucets) this is a great product to look into. I also really love that it’s unscented. One of the things I hated about tide was the scent. Just screams hormone disrupters. The first few times you’re washing to get mineral build up out, you might have to include more detergent. I think I did a solid 3 or 4 scoops with a soak right away but then backed it down a bit.Great product, please don’t discontinue!!Update: now that I’ve gotten the minerals out, I’ve backed down the detergent even more for that second wash in hot… the enzymes can be a little strong once they get wet otherwise and can go after his skin. Or rinse more… want to make sure to get all the detergent out.

Holy crap
I have a geriatric dog with incontinence, and a while back I started putting him in belly band reusable cloth diapers. They were often heavily soiled with pee, and no amount of washing them ever did the trick. I followed the cloth diaper instructions on the bag and honest to god there wasn't ANY smell left even after the soak! They smell like just nothing, its incredible. After months and months of constant odor, its gone! I don't care how much this costs its worth it and I will keep buying it lol GET IT

It really DOES WORK!
After throwing out bras and other sports wear because I could not get rid of the “sporty” smell, I have discovered my new best friend! I was not paid or reached out to to make this review, I just thought I should let everyone know, it actually works! I was skeptical, but I didn't want to get rid of any more my expensive Lululemon bras.I soaked my sport bras with two scoops of the detergent in warm water in a bucket, and then put them in the wash without adding any more detergent, and they came out smelling and feeling beautiful! The sporty stink is GONE! They actually feel AND smell better in every way. You can tell there must have been built up sweat etc that’s now gone.To maintain, I will use one scoop and wash all of my work out clothes together and only soak if necessary.I’m assuming if I maintain and use this detergent on my work out clothes regularly, I won’t need to soak it again.A little more expensive than regular detergent, but if you only use it for your work clothes and when necessary, it’s a great investment, and eco friendly too!Highly recommend. :)
