It's hard to find family games that entertain both the young and...not so young. The wooden stacking block game is a classic and I thought this NSG Giant Tower Game would be a fun upgrade for a holiday party.I like that it comes with its own handled bag for easy transporting and storage. Pieces always seem to get lost in cardboard boxes; that's not a problem here. As far as game play goes, it takes a bit of time to set-up. And if the person setting up the "board" does a sloppy job, the game could be over in a turn or two. Even when being pretty meticulous about placement of the pieces, the game play is pretty short. The base, even with nothing on it, was a bit wobbly. If you're playing with four or more people, that likely could result in one person only having one turn.The kids liked the game because it has a bigger "wow" factor than the wooden block game. But, the wooden block game has a longer game play, faster set-up, and is easier on your wallet.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas! She has a miniature kind of version that’s like this game so I thought she’d like it. Tbh I think it’d be kind of hard for her to put it together herself. Think I’ll always have to be the one. It’s actually really flimsy. Granted don’t get me wrong it stayed up and we played twice and it was fun. But I just wish it wasn’t so flimsy! But she likes it and doesn’t want to return it even though I almost did! So I guess it’s a good buy.
