All of my other swim shorts have a mesh liner. This was my first time trying a polyester and lycra liner. What a huge improvement. A mesh liner may vent water but it is not soft, it can ride up and chaff. The compression liner is soft like a modal shirt, it is not too snug and is just a superb, higher-tech solution to what a mesh liner does. I am 5'11, 178lbs, with a 34 waist, and large was a perfect fit. The length is exactly what I was looking for, with the bottom of the short resting about fist about the top of my kneecap. The side zippered pocket is a great place to store an iPhone while kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Based on comfort and function this is my favorite swim trunk in my drawer and I am ordering another one in a different color. It is also a great value.

I bought these for my teenage son. He LOVED them so much, that I bought a few more pairs in different colors. They were so comfortable that he wears them as shorts and as a bathing suit. He especially liked the liner underneath. He’s the type of kid who cuts the mesh liner out of any bathing suit that has them, but not these!He’s 5’4” and 110 lbs. XS fit him perfectly!

Fits perfect, and the liner is gray to prevent chaffing at the beach and in salt water. Great price for a great pair of swim trunks

Mesh on bathing suits bug me. These suits (i now own 4-5) have breathable stretchy material instead. Suits fit well.

Bought this for my husband to match our twin boys and it was a hit! The built in short is a game changer. My husband says they’re way more comfortable the ones with old school netting. Colors are vibrant and the style/cut is great! Will buy more in the future!

Bought these for my husband & he surprisingly loves them! The liners are super comfortable & the length is great.

These fit my son well. He is a tall, thin 13 year old. Too tall for kids sizes and usually too thin for men's. But based on the size chart I tried the men's small. He's about 5'7 and 115# . The length was long enough for him to feel comfortable and with the drawstring in the waist they don3t fall off!It's been harder this year to find the longer styles. He tried some retro-style shorts but he did not feel comfortable in the shorter lengths so we were happy to find these.

The metal aglets are a great touch. I wish the pockets weren’t zippered but that does come in handy occasionally
