Brilliant, vibrant colors! Absolutely stunning!
This paper weight is absolutely insanely stunning! The quality is superior and the colors jump out at you! It's meant to be an ocean wave and I can attest to the blue one being perfect! I don't have a lot of coastal decor in my home but do have two of the "jellyfish" paperweights and with the wave, the grouping of 3 will be complete! (Odd number of items are desired in groupings...) There are 2 other colors to choose from as well, they are also very vibrant from the pictures in the ad. IMO, not as realistic looking to my eye. Who knows, that may be exactly what will fit in your decor... The weight itself is quite heavy as one would expect. I get lost in looking at the few bubbles and the workmanship of this. IDK if its hand made or mass produced, to me, it doesn't matter in the least. It's perfect! I have quite a few paperweights and some are mid century and known to be hand made. That is at least 70 years ago and times are a changin' with advancements in everything. Anyway, doesn't appear to be individually made but what do I know as a novice just observing... If you're on the fence, please don't hesitate. It's just as pictured or even better than the ad. Shipped well and received without any cracks or breakage at all. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful colors and very vibrant!
First - Excellent paper weight! Although I don't have a lot of paper that needs to be weighed down these days. Everything is digital now. Still though, I love to have something interesting and attractive on my desk, as I'm easily distracted from work, and love to look at interesting things! It's quite hefty, and really just hypnotic!

Unique, striking piece of art for ocean lovers
We have a small base made for holding an oval hand-blown glass piece that has a small white jellyfish in it. The light changes colors which then shines through the glass to make it a very unique piece of art to display in our sea themed entry. I got this blue wave just to have a change of scenery on our lighted base. It fits in my hand so is almost the same size as the jellyfish glass piece. The colors coming through the glass changes the shades within the blue wave and it’s like seeing the moving life of the ocean. It’s beautiful. The red casts purple shades and the yellow and green give variations of sea green. Since the wave in the glass is various intensities of blue, each color change is different. There are numerous bubbles that pick up the colors in different shades, just like the ocean. The display is striking and even without the light under it, the blue wave by itself makes an impressive piece of art. There are no seams or rough edges and the bottom is smooth and flat to sit evenly. It makes an excellent gift; especially for families like ours that have a love affair with the ocean.PROS: ***striking blue shades ***quality workmanship in the wave and glass it’s encased in ***flexible use, such as displaying with lights ***very giftable ***perfect for sea lovers ***we absolutely love it!CONS: ***there are none

Beautifully crafted glass ball with a blue wave rolling on the inside.
I collect paper weights and this has become one of my new favorites. It is handcrafted and truly captures the motion and power of a cresting ocean wave. I have mine on top of a small light box and the light streaming through from the bottom turn this glass ball into a thing of magic and motion.

True to Image
As you would expect from glass artwork, this one begs to be next to some light source so that its beauty can be displayed properly. This is a dense glass ball, and it has some great weight to it that it could be used as a paperweight. But don't do that. I suggest close to a window for the natural sunlight to beam through it to show all the intricate work put into this.

Not at all as pictured.
This picture shows a beautiful wave of glass. The one I got was a lump of dark glass inside a glass ball. Ugly!

Heavy glass ball with blue 'wave'
This is an ok paper weight ball (flat bottomed), but the blue wave decoration on the inside could have been done so much better. It barely looks like a wave to me and has a lot of small bubbles that don't look like they belong with a wave. All told, it is an ok glass ball, but by no means perfect. I got it to give as a gift but decided it wasn't nice enough to use for that so I just kept it.

Nice but a little different than expected
Based on the listing, I thought this would have more of a wave look to it. Personally, my husband and I both thought it look like a Pac-Man character from some angles. It felt as if there was too much of the blue wave material inside, compared to what the listing looks like.At some angles I can see the wave well, and another where it looks too full which makes it look less like water or a wave.
