Naomi Home Kids Canopy Cedar Sandbox with 2 Convertible Benches

What's a flimsy pos!! One little rain storm and the canopy breaks! Like the actual wood broke! !! My 2 year old goes to sit on the bench using the back to support himself and it snaps off!! It's weak wood! I knew it when I put it together I should have sent it back!! What a waste of time and money

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. If I hadn’t specifically ordered this for my daughter’s birthday party (and for use going forward) I would not have even continued to attempt to set it up. At first when I was unboxing I thought wow how nice that some pieces are pre assembled that should help me put it together quicker but that quickly changed. At several points during assembly I struggled thinking what am I doing wrong?! But it always seemed to come down to a premade piece being a bit off or crooked which made it nearly impossible to get the correct fit. You would think for the price it would be a bit better..I was so bummed but at least the kids had fun for the party. May end up buying wood and just making our own sturdy one with a similar design as far as the benches.

Ordered for grandson out of state. Found out daughter in law highly allergic to cedar. Missed return window by three days. Contacted seller and explained situation and they refused to let me return item that was never taken out of box. Such a shame there was no compassion for this Issue. My daughter in law literally would not be able to walk in the back yard if this is put together. Would not recommend this seller.

I'm tempted to send this back now... but we've already put sand in it, so we're kind of stuck... (by the way, whomever said 50lbs is enough needs to double check the weight of bag he used! We used 3 50lb bags and it could still use more.)The pros first: the kids love it. They've never had a sand box, so they're over the moon. It's a good size for two toddlers (2 and 4) and the bench/box cover conversion is a clever one. (our neighborhood has a lot of feral cats--keeping them out of the box was a priority). We live in the desert, so intense sun is also a concern. A canopy is therefore a must for us.The cons: FLIMSY. I read "solid wood" and my brain translated that as "durable." Silly brain. Cedar might hold up to weather, but the 1/2" slats are going to break in a heartbeat... and that's where the danger comes in. My 30-40lb toddlers climb on everything. I know they're going to try and jump on the sand box with the seats folded down the second I turn my back--whether to fill a water bottle, use the toilet, turn hamburgers on the grill, answer the phone...etc...--So I'm counting down the days to when one of my kids puts his or her foot through the lid of the box and has lacerations to see to. If you're a parent, you know it isn't as easy as repeating, "don't climb on the lid." They're kids. That's why we attach bookshelves to the wall even after telling them not to climb on it--we want their toys and space to be safe.So overall I'm less than impressed with this. Even my husband said he could have done better (and cheaper) with a couple of pine 2x4s, a tarp, and some screws.Live and learn, I guess. If (when) my kids get hurt using this, I'll be sure to amend my review to one star.

The cover is what i love the most. Turns into seats and keeps the sand safe from my cat who thinks it's a litterbox lol only reason not giving it 5 stars is because the canopy broke on a very windy day :/ still very much like this product.
