Nice product, good value
Very nice product, reliable and easy to set up. One point to make: when I initially received the item the button to set the pass code and fingerprint was not working, ie not beeping or initiating the set…if that’s the case take the panel off inside of the door (6 Phillips screws). May need to plug the cord from the button back into the master board. It’s obvious where that goes. Very easy. Now works great, looks great and has a lot of room. The seller was extremely helpful, accommodating, clear and prompt with his advice as to what the issue was likely with the set button…

Beware of finger print access failure
Would rate as 0 if this was an option. We purchased this item to safely store guns as we have small children. Initially, the finger print access worked however now it opens for anyone’s finger. We are so grateful we figured this out before one of our children did. After sifting through reviews on the product this failure has happened to other people as well. This safe is not safe at all! If you have small children please beware!! The third party seller could not be contacted as the listed number was not in service. Amazon denied any responsibility as we were out of 30 day return window. I spent several hours on the phone with multiple customer service representatives and at one point an Amazon supervisor actually lied to us, stating that he had called the seller and the number was functional. Overall a terrible purchase, pretty sure amazon did not verify the seller and the cost was passed on to us.

DO NOT DEPEND ON FINGERPRINT AUTHENTICATION ALONE!
For the most part, it does what I need it to do, but not as expected. That having been said, DO NOT DEPEND ON FINGERPRINT ACCESS ONLY. Immediately after successfully setting it up to open only with my fingerprint, I asked another who was not programmed in to try opening it with their fingerprint. To my great disappointment, it opened! After cleaning off the fingerprint window to assure my residual fingerprint was not left on the window, I had them try again, and again it opened when it should not have. It does have the ability to be programmed requiring both a numeric code plus fingerprint. With it programmed in the two mode access method we tried it again and it would then not recognize the other's fingerprint. I have no idea what changed, but will not trust or use the fingerprint-only mode I bought it for. Other than that, it works well and looks great, if that factors into your criteria for a safe. To do it over, I would probably purchase a lower cost safe that operates with two factor authentication.
